Boruto fights are awesome but the has a very bad character development for the side characters. That son of Shikamaru is already a Chunin but has zero screentime.

I don’t think some of these fights are even good. Choreography alone can’t make a fight good.
Kashin Koji’s fight would beat half the list easy simply because that fight actually meant something and was part of the preperation to stop Isshiki once and for all. Compared to that Konohamaru vs Jugo was pretty much forgetable. Jugo was a forgetable character already and Konohamaru didn’t really shine against anyone that mattered.
Even Boro vs everyone was more satisfying because the preperation and strategy used to destroy the core. Boro also used several clever tactics like Naruto as a bait or the virus to make the Karma users overconfident. Compared to that Kawaki vs Garo felt like nothing since we don’t know how Garo compares to New Team Seven and died the episode he got introduced.
