DQB2 is coming to PC on December 10th. Now we will be able to download mods from 3rd party developers to improve the game.

Hi, Ben! I apologize if I have been scarce lately. I’ve been going through some challenges in my life as of the moment. I’m sorry if I haven’t contributed anything to the discord as well. I wish I could do something to help you more than watching and liking your videos. I’m very happy to see you move up since then. More power to you, my friend!

I’ll be sure to take everything you’ve taught me with all your dqb vids and one day build a wonderful city!

Thank you very much, you gave me a great idea to make different huge rooms. I’ve only been playing DQB2 for 3 weeks and fell in love.

There’s an item that’ll let you turn certain items that connect into just one part of the connection. So say you use it, you can turn the couch pieces into separate pieces that don’t connect. They stay that way until you hit them with anything but the Ultimallet. At least in the Switch Version, it’s that big looking shifter thing. I think it’s under crafting tables.

I think I would have used the diagonal chisel to make ramped edge blocks instead of stairs to solve the border problem.

This technique could really work well with a stone floor
    Really love this video

So a plaza can be any room? And doesn’t need a door either? So any ‘room set’ (sealife center, castle, music spa, etc) can be separated with doormats and be open-plan?

Also, how does the 2-tier room with steps work? I struggled a lot with my throne room being recognised and had to redesign the whole thing 😡

Hey Ben. Think you can make a video to help stop the npcs from getting stuck in different areas?

I built a kitchen and a royal dining room in the basement and my fkn npcs hangs out on the top floor at the balcony stacked in a corner because they think it is the kitchen….. and they refuse to actually be in the town i made them.. only farmers do their part

Thanks for using my idea Ben! I know they don’t connect well but maybe you could use the wooden doormats to separate smaller rooms, like the kitchen, and have the entrance room be a reception room?

Is there an in-game way to learn all the different rooms? Do your townsfolk describe how to make rooms? Especially the tablet target rooms?

Hi ben ! Do you turn Gerome (old soldier from Moonbrooke Chapter) in a Kame Sennin cosplay on purpose, or was it a pure coincidence he put the turtle shell ? Anyway it’s neat !

This is helpful but I wish you could dye those stone mats… they throw off the vibe of some rooms. Or at least have another block with the same effect.

Thanks for all your videos though. Always enjoy the content and it always makes life easier in game 😁
