My two tiips. When you get the boat travel around first. Go to ports seek out receipe books around the world before main story progression.

And set skills. Use the x button to see all skills vs wondering what ???? Does. X makes all skills visible.

*How to kick ass? get the "Edition of Light" accessory that heal your HP and MP every turn. That shlt is already OP right at the beginning of the game and all the way to the end. You will never need to use any other accessory. OR just use Save Wizard and you have 999 skill point and unlock all your skill slot and you will kick ass like no tomorrow.*

Heres a hot tip for you, you can link enemy encounters by shooting one enemy with your crossbow, then smacking another with your sword

I agree with the Draconian quest thingie. Battles are far too easy without the "Stronger Enemy" thing selected, so i’d also advise using that for a first playthrough if you don’t just want to play the game very very casually for the story.

All the other options i’d save for potential future playthroughs or if you REALLY care to fill out that Draconian quest Completion list. They all feel more like slight to major annoyances that only make the game more tedious and grindy than add any real meaningful difficulty.

Does the enemies level with you? I’ve been grinding levels in this one area for 2 hours and it seems the enemies still hit just as hard. The area in question is Gallopolis. Everyone in my party including sylvando is level 16 and it just feels like i’ve been grinding for no reason. Have all their weapons at +3 but it still seems like it takes a while to kill just one enemy.

If you guys started without turning on Draconian Quest don’t worry, all you need to do is play the game slightly underleveled. It’s more fun that way if you’re looking for more of a challenge. Sure you can kill a metal slime every now and then, just don’t go nuts farming them.

Nice video. Really enjoyed it. And I’m playing through the game now and I’m the type to never spend mp, but I’m starting to see your point. You get refills all the time in this game.

Want a way to make every damn battle easy? A REAL way? Focus all your shit on the hero, give him the 2-handed sword, don’t even look at sword and board. Midgame you’ll do hundreds of damage with it, and endgame it’s still scary. I hit more with that damn big hit skill than with the pep powers. Ommph him, sap the boss’s defence, and it’s done in 2-3 turns. But honestly, the game is suuuper easy anyway.
