My two tiips. When you get the boat travel around first. Go to ports seek out receipe books around the world before main story progression.
And set skills. Use the x button to see all skills vs wondering what ???? Does. X makes all skills visible.

*How to kick ass? get the "Edition of Light" accessory that heal your HP and MP every turn. That shlt is already OP right at the beginning of the game and all the way to the end. You will never need to use any other accessory. OR just use Save Wizard and you have 999 skill point and unlock all your skill slot and you will kick ass like no tomorrow.*

It’s sooo easy. Is this really needed?

Best funniest tips for Dragon Quest 11 ever I’ve been playing Dragon Quest for I’m gonna try Dracovian mode why not
September 27, 2018 @ 10:21 pm
Heres a hot tip for you, you can link enemy encounters by shooting one enemy with your crossbow, then smacking another with your sword
September 27, 2018 @ 10:24 pm
I agree with the Draconian quest thingie. Battles are far too easy without the "Stronger Enemy" thing selected, so i’d also advise using that for a first playthrough if you don’t just want to play the game very very casually for the story.
All the other options i’d save for potential future playthroughs or if you REALLY care to fill out that Draconian quest Completion list. They all feel more like slight to major annoyances that only make the game more tedious and grindy than add any real meaningful difficulty.

1:17 "do feel a bad about this"
September 27, 2018 @ 10:29 pm

September 27, 2018 @ 10:30 pm
The games perfect difficulty where it’s at right now without any Draconian Modifiers.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:31 pm

September 27, 2018 @ 10:44 pm
Great video lol. Truly loved the commentary.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:44 pm
You sound a *lot* like Bruce Campbell.
And I’m ok with that.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:46 pm
Does the enemies level with you? I’ve been grinding levels in this one area for 2 hours and it seems the enemies still hit just as hard. The area in question is Gallopolis. Everyone in my party including sylvando is level 16 and it just feels like i’ve been grinding for no reason. Have all their weapons at +3 but it still seems like it takes a while to kill just one enemy.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:47 pm
You sound like Norm Macdonald and Bruce Campbells love child…I like it!
September 27, 2018 @ 10:48 pm
basicly, this video explains, how the game was ment to be played imo 😀
September 27, 2018 @ 10:49 pm
Let me re title that. Ah-hem "Ten Totally Obvious "Tips" for Dragon Quest XI, and All other JRPG’s… Ever"
September 27, 2018 @ 10:49 pm
Thanks for the tips, Norm Macdonald.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:52 pm
This should be renamed to “tips for playing any jrpg ever made.”
September 27, 2018 @ 10:54 pm
Did not know about #3
September 27, 2018 @ 10:54 pm
No, Erik is your greatest ally
September 27, 2018 @ 10:56 pm
You talk and sound like Bruce Campbell in the tutorial for Spider-Man 2. I like that.
September 27, 2018 @ 10:57 pm
If you power level at the start of the game, do you think you could beat the dragon chasing you and Erik?
September 27, 2018 @ 10:59 pm
Please put spoiler warning for clips inserted in the video, and if your going to do a tips video don’t you think the beginners are going to be watching it so why would you put mid to late game footage
September 27, 2018 @ 11:00 pm
To sum up the entire video: "Do stuff, go nuts!"
September 27, 2018 @ 11:02 pm
How do you activate draconian quest
September 27, 2018 @ 11:02 pm
I’m itching to play this but I’ve been spending way to much money on games :/ haven’t played since ps2
September 27, 2018 @ 11:03 pm
If you guys started without turning on Draconian Quest don’t worry, all you need to do is play the game slightly underleveled. It’s more fun that way if you’re looking for more of a challenge. Sure you can kill a metal slime every now and then, just don’t go nuts farming them.
September 27, 2018 @ 11:04 pm
Nice video. Really enjoyed it. And I’m playing through the game now and I’m the type to never spend mp, but I’m starting to see your point. You get refills all the time in this game.
September 27, 2018 @ 11:04 pm
I keep seeing that little see thru monster around areas. Any importance to that?? Restarted and doing draconian mode so ill be well into the triple hundred hours by the time i finish
September 27, 2018 @ 11:06 pm
Tip 11: *Use the map wisely*
The map is your guide in the world. You can even use it to search for material harvest spots
September 27, 2018 @ 11:09 pm
You talking like someone on drugs
September 27, 2018 @ 11:10 pm
These tips are just general sense for every dq game
September 27, 2018 @ 11:13 pm
Okay tip #1 had me laughing my ass off already. Great stuff!
September 27, 2018 @ 11:14 pm
I spent 2 hours in the beginning of the game just wandering around finding loot and chests.
September 27, 2018 @ 11:14 pm
Awesome, John Wayne plays DQ.
September 27, 2018 @ 11:14 pm
Want a way to make every damn battle easy? A REAL way? Focus all your shit on the hero, give him the 2-handed sword, don’t even look at sword and board. Midgame you’ll do hundreds of damage with it, and endgame it’s still scary. I hit more with that damn big hit skill than with the pep powers. Ommph him, sap the boss’s defence, and it’s done in 2-3 turns. But honestly, the game is suuuper easy anyway.
September 27, 2018 @ 11:14 pm
number 6 goes for every game
