Sword Art Online Alternative GGO – Xistential Anime Review (and a short defense of sao)

*apologies for all the audio hiccups, still figuring it out.

I am an avid fan of all the youtubers that I mentioned in this video, and I do plan on backing up my critique in a longer video. I will be nitpicking the nitpicks, if you will.

Naturally any critique on my content is more than welcome! (no hate pls)

I agree so much. The "death game" bullshit was so unnecessary. It was just really bad and forced drama.

I’m also one of the guys who doesn’t really have strong feelings about the original SAO, it was a decent series that got a shit ton of viewers because of its premise, marketing and luck.
This one was more of a roller coaster. There were a lot more highs but also more lows.

Keep making videos dude, I enjoy listening to your perspectives and I like your editing. Looks like you invest a lot of time doing these.

This was an interesting review. I got confused trying to wrap my head around the criticisms of criticisms, but I guess it was expected since you pointed it out later. It reminded me of that 4chin memetic threads where people try to talk shit about good shows, proving how it’s so easy to be dishonest and lead your viewer into flawed mindsets.
Where is my SAO counter analytical diatribe?! I demand analysis

I curently disagree with all my opinions in this video (lol)

Alternative is about escaping into an online game, and having fun in it. Its self indulgent and not for outsiders to its themes, and thats ok.
