Sword Art Online Alicization Episode 6, titled Project Alicization, continues right where we left off last week, with Asuna demanding to know where Kirito is, furious at Kikuoka Seijirou. In this episode, we learn a lot more at what Kikuoka Seijirou and Higa Takeru have been doing at RATH on Ocean Turtle! They explain why they need the help of Kayaba Akihiko’s old girlfriend, Rinko Koujiro and what they are doing to treat Kirito!
We get to see the results of a failed cloning experiment of Higa’s consciousness and a whole lot more is uncovered regarding Rinko Koujiro and Kayaba Akihiko’s past and the Aincrad incident!

I can’t believe we get to see what Higa Takeru looks like in the series since the appearance in the ending of Ordinal Scale’s teaser! So many twists and turns, and practically it requires watching it the second time or begin reading the Light Novels. Strange, he looks pretty young on appearance and not judgmental on his real age… However, throughout the episode, practically this already made Asuna’s blood pressure go through the roof (it will take time to take all the info into her head)…

So if I understand correctly (given the informations that we have at the moment), the Axiom Church was founded by the artificial fluctlights despite the control of Kikuoka over the Underworld, and so was the taboo index, is that right? I’m too scared of spoilers to check on the wiki ?

Don’t know how I fell about this episode tbh, there were some very good scenes like the scenes with Rinko and Kayaba but whenever I out of all people begin to question SAO then there was a pretty big problem.It’s not like it ruins the whole episode for me but still I really hope that something like that doesn’t happen again. holy shit this is all so gayy. Shouldn’t all this info that this government official is telling asuna, be classified. Shouldn’t she had been escorted to the helicopter till kyaba’s lover got back. It’s completely unnecessary for a government official to expose this much info TO A HIGH SCHOOLER!!
Lastly shouldn’t this guy had kirito sign some kind of contract so he wouldn’t speak to his HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS ABOUT CLASSIFIED INFO. And am still wondering why that women brought a high schooler to a (secret government base in the middle of the ocean!!)

Damn it ALO scene. This episode was SO close to being rated Sinon’s Ass/10.
Back to Kirito and Eugeo next week, so I’m really looking forward to that (I can’t lie, I’m into this bromance).
I also found it funny that someone compared this season so far to Assassin’s Creed. When we’re with Kirito in Underworld, it’s like we’re exploring the world with the Assassins inside the Animus. When we’re with Asuna in the real world, we’re just waiting to jump back inside the Animus.

In my opinion I don’t see any problem in asuna scene, actually you are right about it’s a secret information that she could pay attention when she want to talk about it but even if they watching and have they access to listen to the player when they play or talk in the game they can listen to everyone. Logically they are a LOT of player are playing at the same time so they can’t keep their eye on everyone so it’s not a big deal. But also I wish if they explained this situation somehow just to make it clear cause you know there is a lot of haters and they are waiting for any simple thing to criticism.

I just realized that Kikuoka didn’t really tell everything to Asuna and Rinko. Do you think that’s why he trusted her being logged into ALO? I mean the information he told both of them are pretty massive secrets but since he didn’t tell them the full story he probably trusted her. But I agree the ALO scene was very stupid. I love SAO with all my heart but that had to be the worst scene in the franchise.
Correct me if I’m wrong, did Kikuoka tell them everything or no? If so then omg that scene should just be cut

I disagree about them adapting the hg001 scene perfectly, in fact I’d say the couldn’t have adapted it worse if they tried. They omitted lots of small lines of dialog that serve to emphasize how messed up the experiment is and then immediately after it concluded, they downplayed and rushed straight through the aftermath which made it so the viewer doesn’t have enough time to let the depravity of the experiment sink in

The new soundtrack at the beginning of the episode is fantastic. Plot is also nice in this adaptation so far(beside one scene where soul self destruction), so next episode we are returning to Kirito. So welcome to Project Alicization. ?
