New Cantlin – Dragon Quest Builders
Dragon Quest Builders Chapter 1 – I built New Cantlin based loosley on the original DQ 1 map. I took a few liberties with the design to ensure the buildings still functioned.
– Blacksmith = DQ1 Advanced Weapon Shop
– Pippa’s room = DQ1 Key shop
– Treasure House = DQ1 Magic Weapons and Fairy Water shop
– Armory = DQ1 – Basic Weapons Shop
– Inn = DQ1 Inn
– BBQ Bistro = DQ1 Accessory Shop
– Enshrined Cantlin Shield = DQ1 Items Shop
– Skipped the central gazebo. Roofing messes up the camera. Also, no way to add a pond.
– Added an aqueduct on the South East Corner to bring water to the Cantlin Garden
– Put the Portal Room and Graveyard underground
– Converted the Keep into the main entrance
– Spent a LOT of time digging out the hill so I could build a low outer wall, and then even MORE time framing grass seeds from drackys just so that the city wouldn’t be surrounded by dirt.

I’m doing the same thing. But mine is a bit more detailed. My garden is in the middle of the town like it is in game and has a roof over it. I have stone walls and used castle blocks to build some other stuff. Idk why but stonewall seems to be the best. Plus a spike pit around mine. Pray for the hammerhoods. They never had a chance.

I love how you designed the roofs open it makes so much sense!!! Each room is designed with just enough and the garden was way better then my own attempt.

How did you get cantlin garden in there? Are there Water Blocks down there? Best cantlin I have seen!
