I just wish they included a FoV toggle for BbS as well. And I wish dual-audio meant the Japanese openings were included. But overall, what a great mod. KH2 never getting a soft reset in future ports was a crime.

Really nice of having the dual-audio available from a mod. Now it seems like having bought that Japanese edition of 1.5+2.5 was a waste, haha.

so this mod was a freaking lie. Downloaded and installed on pc and now I can’t save, also the ‘supposed fix’ for the bugs of quitting and going back to the launcher screen doesn’t work. I’m still getting them. A complete lie

I so glad that the KH2 mod lets you reorganize your magic. That’s something that KH has needed for a LONG time. I reallt wish that KH1 had that as well becuase I think that game needs it way more.

I downloaded this and patched the dual audio but it crashes my game every time and now I get anti form every time I drive.

This is such a nitpick but I would love if someone could mod the game to turn off the information message from kh2 that plays when you enter basically any encounter. I find it super annoying and pointless

Still think it should be called Re:Fined. Rolls off the tongue better, rhymes with Re:Mind. "Fined" has a second defition that fits with the theme, as well the word "refined" itself, as the mod in general being about refining the games and adding quality of life rather than just basic fixes.

11:13 Given the PS2 versions of KH1/KH2 had european dubs too (German/French/Spanish), i wish there was an option for those languages too, but hey the mod is great as it is already!

I’m curious if this mod has the option to turn off subtitles. The cutscenes look very nice but having forced subtitles detracts from the experience in my opinion. I’m very surprised it hasn’t yet been included in an official release of these games (not counting KH3).

Is anyone having a problem when you return to the game selection menu and its forever loading ? When i return to the menu off playing CoM it’s fine but anything that was modded like KH1FM and 2FM its forever loading. I know you can just close the application and reopen but its frustrating if you are playing multiple titles and just wanna switch but can’t.

I wish there was a mod for KH1 to make the HP and MP bars resemble KH2’s version instead. The bars stretching across the screen for all characters as you level up is annoying to look at.

one thing I’d lose my mind over is if they gave us a 21:9 patch. I use an ultrawide monitor and I’d love to be able to have KH2 with proper ultrawide support

9:30 Well, "Sonic Rave" IS the correct name ( ソニックレイヴ ) remember when Sora dashes with his blade in the move, the Triangle Command says "Rave"? , also with "Last Arcanum" (ラストアルカナム ).

any idea if theres a mod that fixes some of the audio issues that a present?
Off the top of my head Jafar’s "The world is mine to control" is missing as well as sephiroths reaction command sounds much worse than the og ps2.
i admittedly havent played kh2 in a bit so if these got fixed at one point then nvm but I dont recall them being fixed the last time i played.

Does this adjust parts of the story’s cutscenes as well and reinstate the Japanese version of the cutscenes because the usa version is censored not for anything inappropriate but for very dumb reasons.

The only issue I’ve ever had is the issue where xemnes hits you sometimes even when you press triangle, that’s what needs fixing

I think KH1s fov should stay the same because the closer camera is designed for the the game since you dont move around as much. In the later games it made sense to increase the fov since the areas were larger and fighting took up more space and there needed to be more things. However I do think they should have given the option in at least ps4/pc/xbox versions

Probably gonna get this just because it’s a really nice QoL mod, but I’d REALLY love to see an addition to play the original OST and original heartless skins for that true classic feel for KH1. Idk maybe it’s just me but I’m alright with the new renditions of the scores but I’m definitely not a fan of the new heartless skins.
