Is Netflix's Death Note worth watching?
Is Netflix's Death Note worth watching?
Little late, but I was wanting to avoid it until I realized that was folly. This is something we really need to talk about…..

Live action anime films will never work.
April 4, 2019 @ 9:50 pm
WHY DID THEY TURN L INTO A BLACK GUY. Cant they just stick to the original L. Even a goth would be a lot better. Dont take this the wrong way I just dont like all the changes in this movie.
April 4, 2019 @ 9:51 pm
I’d probably react like that if I just saw William Dafoe
April 4, 2019 @ 9:52 pm
My brother loved the Death Note Western adapted movie and he’s 8. I didn’t enjoy it but he did.
April 4, 2019 @ 9:54 pm
Hell yes I would freak out and run into shelf’s if William defoe came near me wouldn’t You?
April 4, 2019 @ 9:57 pm
This video just reminded me how much I love the Death Note anime score
April 4, 2019 @ 9:57 pm
Why not just say the movie took place after the anime
April 4, 2019 @ 9:58 pm
Have you ever seen a more nerdy, obnoxious man?
April 4, 2019 @ 9:59 pm
If you compare it to the death note manga and anime then yeah it’s shit. But if you just let it be it’s own story it’s totally passable with some moments of being actually really good
April 4, 2019 @ 10:01 pm
I can say you the effort of watching this video it’s not
April 4, 2019 @ 10:02 pm
Which avatar are you talking about the blue people one was a very good movie which is getting a sequel
April 4, 2019 @ 10:03 pm
All according to keikaku
April 4, 2019 @ 10:04 pm
No, it isn’t
April 4, 2019 @ 10:04 pm
the movie was so horrible… I just skipped to look at Ryuk… he looked nice ?
April 4, 2019 @ 10:04 pm
I never really got into the anime, but my boyfriend enjoyed it enough, so we watched the movie together while downing beers. He came away appreciating the anime more, and I laughed my ass off and fell in love with how silly and ridiculous the movie was. You could tell that the actors had a whole lot of fun with this, and if you just watch it as a dark comedy, it’s some super hilarious shit.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:05 pm
I dont know why people try to live action animes, there animes for a reason and it would ruin it by limiting it to real world imaging.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:06 pm
Tbh you’re telling me you wouldn’t react like him if you saw a demon?
April 4, 2019 @ 10:07 pm
The west ruin everything.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:08 pm
WHo should watch this? Definitely no one.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:09 pm
I have a friend who watched this movie without watching the anime. He liked it. Probably because he hadn’t tasted true genius yet but was tasting shit and hasn’t stopped yet.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:10 pm
Wherever there’s god, there’s light. Death god and white light that is.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:10 pm
Romeo and juliet can be considered a dark comedy. Or a tale of what not to do when you are in a teenage romance. Sometimes he has tragedy and screw ball comedy in the same play like in the taming of the screw, where the screw is a tragic character and it is a subtile satire on the role of a woman, mainly becaucse her husband is over the top horrific.Hamlet can have dark comedy too. The line between tragedy and comedy is indeed very debatable in sheakepeare. The drama comedy mix is his style.
I highly doubt that it was in the mind of the producers to make a horror comedy.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:14 pm
Even the Japanese live action was ten times better than this.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:14 pm
The beginning of this video though?
April 4, 2019 @ 10:15 pm
Why is L black
April 4, 2019 @ 10:16 pm
As soon as you said (more of …a ) I knew you would say comedy nothing else could work for it.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:18 pm
I liked this movie, because it did it own thing, not really an adaptation.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:20 pm
Espectacular vídeo, gracias por el magnifico trabajo.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:21 pm
I enjoyed the movie, but it could’ve been better. Maybe the sequel will be better, if there is one of course
April 4, 2019 @ 10:22 pm
Should have been it’s own thing. It tried to do something different but it also tried to follow the source material doing pretty much nothing. Had it been it’s own thing yeah it would have been ripped apart by the hardcore fans but it could have stayed true in one way. Well at least they tried you get points for trying.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:22 pm
Idk i enjoyed the movie I couldn’t get past episode 1 on the anime
April 4, 2019 @ 10:24 pm
Hollywood ruined it.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:25 pm
I felt like I was watching a parody of Death Note
April 4, 2019 @ 10:26 pm
Hollywood never learns
April 4, 2019 @ 10:35 pm
you broke this down PERFECTLY
April 4, 2019 @ 10:36 pm
No just save you 10min
April 4, 2019 @ 10:36 pm
It’s the sjw version
April 4, 2019 @ 10:36 pm
First minute, already like you and your reaction. This match the point. Ok, let’s do this. XD
April 4, 2019 @ 10:37 pm
I must admit, the Netflix Light’s reaction to seeing Ryuk for the first time makes a lot more sense, I honestly thought that’s the point you were going to make. Like, there’s one thing they did well. Ok, not "well" but… more realistically, even if it was over the top. I mean, you’d freak out. Or at least be a little scared.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:39 pm
Oh my god I was just looking at your background and I’ve just realised that the central poster is of Steins;Gate!
April 4, 2019 @ 10:39 pm
Netflix death note in one sentence : "For F*ck’s sake……!!"
April 4, 2019 @ 10:40 pm
I enjoyed it. Don’t know why.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:40 pm
The answer is no
I hate how they *Americanized* it
April 4, 2019 @ 10:41 pm
On a completely unrelated note: has anyone noticed that this dude sounds exactly like matt Damon??
April 4, 2019 @ 10:41 pm
Willem Dafoe was the only redeemable quality of this dumpster fire
April 4, 2019 @ 10:41 pm
The most fun I had with the movie was watching "Weekend Warrior"s video about it, right before watching "E;R"s three part series on it.

I hope that the musical comes to America… the demo bits are really good!
April 4, 2019 @ 10:44 pm
One word :
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
April 4, 2019 @ 10:45 pm
It sucks. I hate it and I don’t easily say that about a anime/movie. Netflix took my favourite show of all time, murdered it and then raped and defiled the corpse. I’m mad.
April 4, 2019 @ 10:48 pm
L isn’t black.
