When I first started seeing reviews of it, I was surprised at how much better it is than what I had initially thought, and at such an incredibly cheap price, it isn’t all that bad at all.

The sad thing is with how much money they make from this series they could’ve EASILY library binded it and made WAAAAY bigger but instead they give us this shit. For anyone wondering what the best way to read death note, buy the box set. Easily the best way to read a series

I freaking hate the prices in denmark…. it’s $60(the cheapest place…) And if i buy it from amazon, it will end up costing $60 anyways. Because we have to pay to get the stuff in the my country… but the box set its gard dang $120!!!! so i think i go for the all in one…*i cri*

I think they imoroved the binding from the original Japanese edition. I saw photos of those with the spin badly cracked. Anyway,Im possibly going to buy it as I need to collect the rest if Death Note.

I’ll stick to the box set.
but while we’re on the subject I recently caught up to Platinum End. And I disagree with you that it’s crap. it’s definitely not good and doesn’t come close to DN or Bakuman, but it’s far from the worst thing I’ve read. the art is amazing, Obata’s best yet. the concept is also great and the story is somewhat interesting before it falls apart. But I HATE the main characters! for a manga that is similar to death note I have NO IDEA how they screwed the characters. Mirai is a retarded emo who can’t kill the main villain for the STUPIDEST reasons. I’m writing a blog about it on anime amino actually, I’ll link you the post when it’s done
