   Also in order to fully enjoy the game i would say you need to have played or know the story of dragon quest one since it basically a spin off of if the dq hero said yes to the dragon lord

   Great review. I was hesitant about getting this game because of the building and I’m not into those big rpg games that take forever to grind through. Now after knowing more about it, I might take the plunge with this one. It looks fun.

   I call this game Zeldacraft. Addictive as HELL because it took the good idea behind Minecraft and combined it with Zelda straight up complete with great deku tree and charge spin, hat, characters, music and on and on. What makes it a jewel is leaving behind the shitty graphics/movement of minecraft and placing a third person Zelda platform in it’s place.

    I had exactly the same experience as some have mentioned in the comments! I hate Minecraft and never really dived into the DQ universe but was familiar with the artwork. I was unsure about it so It was one of the first demos I downloaded when I got the switch. I was instantly hooked! Awesome game!

    Eric, i’m going to be honest and please take this as constructive criticism and not a personal attack, Your channel has become very bland and stale and you come across as not really being very passionate about what you’re talking about.
    Going back to videos prior to the Nintendo switch cash cow chasing that this channel has become. you came across as far more genuine talking about retro video games. these days it just feels like you’re talking about Nintendo switch for the sake of views it attracts.

    I have enjoyed your channel for years and really used to enjoy it but I think its not for me anymore. No hard feelings as you are entitled to go in any direction you want but I feel that its focused too much on the switch and I find myself not watching any of the videos when they pop up in my subscription feed.

    Same reason I have unsubscribed to Woods channel as well. wish you well with the channel and thanks for some great vids over the years.

    I HAAAAAAAAAATE Minecraft. Hate hate hate! But I played the demo of DQB and immediately went and bought the physical game. It’s addictive and hours fly by when I play it. If you’re in doubt try the demo. I saw the reviews on YouTube and thought “whatever” but after playing it it’s now in my top 5 Switch games list.

    Eric great review but there is some things new to its PS4 brother there all in the free build mode

    1. New monster that you can ride and gives you 8-bit blocks if you hit a enemy

    2. There’s no colour wheel the thing that gives you different coloured blocks it’s just replaced with a game pack a cratrige of dragon quest one on the NES that also gives 8-nit stuff and different coloured blocks
