I loved the system in this. You have to build your power, and if it gets high enough you can go kaioken, and then super saiyan. Adds progression in a fighting match.. so fun. I wish the new one was like that.

i was so trash at this game when i was young, but seeing it play properly it looks very imversive and fun xD. Remember how hard i struggeled against third form frieza. Wanted to break the PS. The story was awsome. learn me the ways senpai.
Btw the hd is killing my eyes lol. Maybe they just brighten it up or maybe its just how beautyfull it is.

Don’t the characters wear the correct clothes for the different sagas throughout the story mode in this game? Goku is incorrectly wearing the gi he gets at the start of the android saga right at the beginning of the saiyans saga.

Dammit, the soundtrack is ruined on this one, too? And to think I almost considered buying this collection. Oh well, if I want Budokai in HD, then I will just play them on Dolphin. Get the better soundtracks that way and Budokai 2 is included as well. Sounds like a better deal to me.
Oh wait, the GameCube never had Budokai 3.
Also, I am very happy that they kept the original voice acting entirely from the looks of it. I was worried about hearing Colleen, but the dub is still good. That will influence my purchase a little bit.
