We were all there from laughing at Asta and his series to being side-by-side with him, yelling “MADA MADA”…I’m so happy that Black Clover is number 1 that I won’t even get a little upset about what’s at Number 8.

Fairy Tail was the exact opposite. Everybody loved it up until after the grand magic games. Then after that arc we realised, no one ever dies and every fight is won through the power of friendship. So there were no stakes anymore.

FAIRY TAIL SHOULD BE ON THE OPPOSITE OF THIS LIST, THE ENDING FUCKING RUINED THE ENTIRE SHOW. Sorry but i have literally never gone from loving a show to not being able to watch as quickly as i did with fairy tail. The entire last arc is rushed and just completely awful because he wanted to stop making it then he has the balls to add more episodes later because he realized he was missing out on a payday. I literally can’t even watch the show anymore because all that happens is i remember how it ends and i can’t stand to watch it anymore.

Personally, I feel like Sword Art Online gets too much hate. I Don’t understand why.
SAO is personally one of the best Anime I’ve ever watched, and is one of my most favorites (My most favorite Anime is Akame Ga Kill!) And, honestly, SAO is a whole lot better than most other Anime I’ve seen (Better than Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, and even Naruto)

I can understand Beastars and Mr. Tonegawa because the former I suppose some people don’t like furries and also if I was explaining it to a friend from what little I know I would be like yeah it does sound weird. For the latter he’s the guy that took advantage of Kaiji right? Dragon Ball Super still deserves the hate. It’s a soulless failure, and it’s way worse than GT. GT is honestly a lot better than what haters made it out to be. 2/3 of the show is good. GT had passion, tension, consequences, a clear vision, and in some areas, it had good storytelling and good character development. Super doesn’t have any of that stuff. On first viewing, it’s hype, but being hype-fueled doesn’t automatically make something good. Just look at the Transformers films. If you think that what made the Dragon Ball series good are transformations, explosions, and mindless action, then you don’t know what made the series great in the first place.

At first, I’m shocked as to why Yu-Gi-Oh GX was on the list. And then, I remember Belowski, Damon, the first Season’s too much reliance on the second anime series Bastion in general after losing to Jaden’s Wildheart and not giving the non-Jaden characters–Alexis in particular– more amazing story arc.

I hated fairy tail final season mostly for Lucy potentials being wasted (star dress should have been unlocked around magic games unless it was new improvised idea) and black dragon defeat was full of crab and plot holes, realistically he should have been killed by the time space hole,. Currently the 100 years mission manga is slowly disappointing, they are hunting five dragons 100 TIMES STRONGER than black dragon yet Lucy didn’t change much and still lagging behind while Wendy is again the most developed character hence replacing Lucy as female lead.

I don’t see how anyone could hate fairy tail, I’ve seen every episode & I thought that one was basically a yugioh easter egg was funny. Personally I’d say the only thing thats unlikable is erza’s overly try hard “I can’t lose because I can’t be seen as weak” shtick, I know she went through the whole traumatic I lost all my friends thing before joining the guild but for someone whose a badass warrior woman she needs to be less warrior & more woman by letting herself open up to people with not wearing her armor all the time.

I haven’t watch Black Glover, Beast Stars, Tonegawa-san, Arifureta and Dragon Ball Super, the rest of the anime were pretty fine since the beginning, I didn’t see anything wrong and I think people were judging too fast.
For instance; Higurashi Gou, from what it explained I think some people have forgotten or didn’t listen well or more precisely didn’t play the games that the arcs that aired always repeated every time Rika loops. But the arc in this sequel have new twists and turns thanks to the true culprit (poor Satoko has gone mad).
Another example; Fairy Tail, there’s nothing about the anime that rehashing One Piece and Bleach, sure one of the themes is friendship but come on, there other anime that use friendship. And it has its own plot and world that takes place.

People hate on fairy tail without thinking about the genre it comes under. Like it literally is friendship show with adventures and a guild with family, and it teaches you some meaningful things about life. Like it’s not not no goal oriented anime, it’s about adventures you can have with your friends but if you dont like that shit don’t watch it. Like haters dont even notice the plot and foreshadowing they only look for fights and want to complain. If your an actual fan of fairy tail you’ll understand that this is a beautiful written story from the beginning to the end. An other thing people dont realize is that fairy tail wasn’t supposed to be long running. The author made thinks up along the way. It was sopose to end at the tower of heaven arc with everyone dieing and it would have been a specific character dream while they were in the tower.

I agree the most here with Dragon Ball super and Black Clover. But were known for garbage animation, it’s still not that wow for sure, but the shows do get better and better and they’re very fleshed out in their own ways. Super got super addicting to me and the last arc was fantastic, black clovers world to me is the best part and how they treat magic is interesting. Also that Asta never keeps to his ways all the time, is very endearing to watch.

Oddly enough, Fairy Tail kind of went the reverse for me. I loved it at first, but as it got closer to the end, I was checking out a bit.
Plus some of it’s fan service got kind of uncomfortable; namely _that_ scene of Erza getting tortured and the flashback of her mother being humilated and punished. Those made it hard for me to reccomend in good faith.

2: dragon ball super? hate is a strong word but i dont think dislike is the right word either. it was great and it expanded upon battle of gods. it was great way before goku black.

I know the english 4Kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh GX use to be good when it premiered on Cartoon Network back in october 2005, but now with my research, 4Kids decided to cut off the additional scenes for most episodes, the japanese music score replaced with 4Kids production music, english or japanese text 4Kids removed for most episodes, etc. I’m mainly sticking to the original japanese episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX nowadays. The english dub theme song of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX was only good thing about it. Other than that, I’m sticking to the original japanese episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

I 100% agree with black clover fairy tail i think they got it backwards.
In my personal opinion of Ft I really like the characters (specifically gray and Lucy) but the story.. isn’t nearly as magical as the cast (pun intended) it retreads everything in every single arc and there’s no suspense in any of the fights because of it. In my very subjective opinion on top of this subjective opinion you cant expect us to worry about these characters and get even more invested into them if the threats aren’t real threats. (Exceptions being One Punch Man)

I remember the backlash with Digimon Frontier, and I think it was in large part due to coming right off of Digimon Tamers, which was so incredibly well received (and rightly so). I remember reactions preparing to _not_ like Tamers bc it was the first season to deviate from the original storyline, but lo and behold, it’s considered one of the, if not the, best seasons of the franchise. I don’t think anyone expected Tamers to be as good as it was and that caught ppl by surprise.
But that worked to Frontier’s disadvantage, bc ppl either wanted another season of Tamers, like we got with Digimon Adventure, or didn’t like how light-hearted and goofy Frontier was when it aired in comparison to Tamers. Ppl who liked Digimon by the time Tamers ended were typically of the older crowd. But Frontier’s setting and tone felt like it was supposed to be aimed at a younger demographic than Tamers’, which made it lose viewers. And it also didn’t help that it took away the whole Digimon partner aspect.
But I liked Frontier since the beginning. And I think more ppl gave it another chance (or at least, it’s audience grew) once the series really got into Cherubimon’s story and the introduction of the Royal Knights and Lucemon.
Yugioh GX’s real attraction came from its 3rd season, which was good enough to make up for the earlier 2 seasons. If it had continued like it did the 1st or even 2nd season, ppl wouldn’t have liked it as much.
I still can’t get into DBS. I was already feeling fatigue from the series as a whole (GT did *not* do it for me), and the beginning of Super wasn’t it either. I completely lost interest by the time the Future Trunks story was beginning (though, I did suspect it was a push in the right direction to pick the show back up). But I ended up dropping the series and never got back into it to check out the rest (maybe in the future?).

Digimon Frontier didn’t really resonate with me. Mainly because 1) It wasn’t shown in United Kingdom were I live, and 2) When I finally did get to get to watch it I gave up after 6 episodes. It just wasn’t working for me. But I am going to give it another watch this time someday in full and who knows I might like it this time.

Frontier was my favorite Digimon season when I was younger and still is.
I don’t mind Fairy Tail at all. It’s not one of my favorites but it’s also not bad.
GX is the Yu-Gi-Oh season I watched growing up and it has my favorite monsters, the Cyber Dragon line (Zane was my favorite character so that could be why) I also liked the Crystal Beasts.
The rest of the anime I haven’t see but I plan to watch Black Clover now when it’s taking a break.
Might also give Lucky Star a chance.

Fairy Tail was a good anime (or at the very least tolerable) until the last arc. The villains were all defeated through forced last moment power-ups, forced off screen wins, forced one shots, forced talk no jutsu, and forced suicides. And the fake deaths that barely lasted really annoyed me since it basically made feeling any type of serious emotions towards the story pointless (at least make the fake deaths last 10 chapters, *not that 1-2 chapter bullshit they pulled with some of the characters*). The worst part is that the anime didn’t even bother changing much of what was wrong with the arc, which is sad because otherwise Fairy Tail would be an 8/10 for me (I’d give it a 6/10). But at least the manga sequel more or less redeemed Fairy Tail.

I loved Yugi Oh GX, almost more than the original, just based off the fact that they actually had duels and a lot of them, sure there’s the OMG lucky moments of course, but the duels were realistic and I just love the duel sequence more than the story itself. Check it out!

I see comments and I don’t care if people don’t like Fairy Tail and that’s fine with me. But I don’t like how haters just shove their own opinions down on people’s throats. Don’t get me wrong, I find the Alvarez Arc having the most problems out of all the arcs and even the Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest sequel imo is doing better than that arc. Like I don’t like how Makarov was resurrected because I believe it should be the right age and experience for him to pass on. But then again, I can understand Mashima’s answer for that because he had lots of backlash from fans for killing off too many characters when he did Rave Master. So from that, how is all this hate or jumping into the hate bandwagon any fair from what Mashima has experienced? In conclusion, no series is considered perfect. People have their own opinions and reasons to like something.

I liked “Beastars” as soon as I started watching it mid lockdown 2020. Good to know “Higurashi” isn’t just a re-animation. I dropped it after one episode thinking that’s all it was and preferring the original. I’ll give it another shot now that I know it becomes its own thing later.

First off how can anyone hate Fairy Tail? The fights were great, the animation was sound and the characters were lovable. How can anyone hate it? As for Arifureta, I can understand the bad CGI but it was basically loved and hated for the same reasons? I for one like Arifureta. As for yugioh gx, I liked it from the beginning. Mostly because of Jaden’s carefree positive personality and his love for dueling. As for dragon ball super I am a huge dragon ball fan. I think the anime started to pick up once it got to the universe six saga. As for black clover, I liked it from the very beginning. The MC is nothing short of lovable and his will to never give up reminds us why we love shonen anime. I’ll admit the animation was a bit lacking in a few episodes but overall the anime is destined for greatness. I as a manga reader know that for sure. Black Clover has been getting better.

Digimon Frontier looks like what you’d expect a tokusatsu to be. Also, that one scene looks as if Natsu’s trying to say, “SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!” Lastly, we can all agree that the When They Cry franchise is the Saw of anime, right? Minus the, “Game Over”, gimmick.

Fairytail shouldn’t be on this list, it wasn’t hated initially, people love the 1st few seasons, and still do, what people hated were the later seasons partially because of the studio changes. So it isn’t hated and love later it’s always been loved, just parts of it disliked, even then fans still liked those arcs when they were in the manga.

i love fairy tail and i always have its my favorite but that in the anime community comes with a stigma saying you have bad taste in shows. its just a popular opinion for people to hate on fairy tail. there was even a few moments during the final season or for me when i read the manga that i was a very disappointed. but looking at the original design for fairy tail when the author wanted to make a darker series and kill erza off during the tower of heaven arc i was more then happy with what we got instead. but the thing that annoys me is when people say no one dies, very few in the main cast die but in quite a few side characters die.

Black Clover really started from the bottom with absolutely nothing.
Black Clover anime is the embodiment a Black Clover story a talentless nobody orphan that worked hard and clawed his way to the top that is what the anime did and even though he may have people that judge him unfairly and that mistreat him he keeps pushing his way to the top everything asta is going through and will go through is exactly what the anime in manga is going through for Black Clover Black Clover was not gifted with the best animation from the beginning like Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen or MHA and it was clear biases because of the cliches in Black Clover and don’t get me wrong I love demon Slayers and Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga but we all know we’ve seen that whole storyline in cliche for Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen many times before but yet everybody prays that and hated on black Clover for having these cliches just bias for the anime community.

– Among the most favorite anime in 87 countries and territories

It just goes to show what a little bit of endurance, improvement, and maybe a small bit of Fan Service in some series can do to turn a simply pathetic anime series into a worldwide phenomenon over time. I’m just saying.

My sister dragged me into Black Clover as to get me out of RWBY obsessing. I thought it was like like every shounen out there until the elf arc happened and found Meroleona to be a shining star amongst the captains, after that point, I found myself enjoying it! Not as much as MHA and Demon Slayer but I found it enjoyable…despite it being underrated.

You know the protagonists suck when you root for the antagonist like Garou from OPM does XD.
I wanted Zeref to win and fight Acnologia. Instead I got this lame ass power ranger fight.
The only good thing about fairy tail are its badass antagonist
Natsu is like a mix of the worst sides of Luffy and Naruto with none of their depth

I’m caught up with 100 years quest and Edens zero, not because they’re good, but because I can’t leave a story unfinished and it’s more ammo to use against idiots 90% of whom are too intimidated by the concept of reading to follow those series. Yeah, I dont think the people that hated FT started to like it at any point. Everyone brings the argument of friendship and lack of stakes and too much fanservice, like other shonen havent done the same thing multiple times. Its just obnoxius to hear the majority hating on it.

Personally I always liked Fairy tail, definitely had the dip in the Edolas arc for me and the final arc was quite a mess but I still like it.
Black clover I absolutely love yes I struggled with that dungeon arc but after that it just got better and better . I love Black clover it’s so good
