Tbh it doesn’t look like a training camp for league of villains. It looks as if the League finally went out there to get his help and just gave him the news about AFO and he’s not taking it too well. That’s just my opinion though

I see this as being a Prison Break arc in disguise. I mean, what if the League actually teams up with Bakugo, Todoroki and even All Might, brings down Detnerat Co, then uses the tech and resources they get to attack Tartarus?

After faulty equipment would lead to more danger after these things are helping people control their quirk…so if the equipment is bad or not working right injuries will happen comparing it to a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp knife…

My big question is why the resurgence? It obviously makes sense to put down the league as they give quirk users a bad rep and make people like Overhaul think it better they don’t exsist at all, but why try to make battle gear and everything that could get you caught when you already making bank legitmately(or at least it seems legit right now).
When the og Destro cam in, I can imagine quirk users faced a lot of regulations and scrutiny, but heroes are super popular, they are basically celebrities and police in one, and we saw how a non-quirk user like Deku was the one being persecuted because quirks are the norm now.
I’m looking forward to seeing the greater motivation at play here.

The original Japanese for it is ”金玉から出直してこい”
"Crawl back into your father’s B_S_" is an ok translation it misses out because a direct translation of what Giran is saying after "What broker would sell out his clients?" is "Start over from your father’s B_S_" with the connotation being "You need to go that far back to learn the basics of this trade you idiot." making the Viz Media translation a bit better as it captures some of that connotation.
Also had a problem with translating "君とは長い付き合いになりそうだ” to "I think you and I are going to be great friends." The literal translation is "I feel like we will have a long relationship together you and I." Again, making the Viz translation of "You and I are going to be spending plenty of time together, it seems". A bit better.
It’s subtle but I appreciate you going in depth about the translation differences. I usually pick it up already translated (as I don’t like pirating raws) so I didn’t notice the different translations until you highlighted it in your videos. Keep up the great work.

I really think it’s about time for Horikoshi to kill some student in this arc. I don’t care who but someone. Obviously if the story allows it but I really think they have to step up the stakes a little bit more. I mean, 219 chapters and no student has died in a world like this? C’mon.

Well big posibility Giganmachia is S level and they have noumus but still they lost a lot of things so basically League of Villains are in big danger right now. And i wont be surprised if shigaraki made gigan his dog/servant. there is a pobilitiy that we dont see their training but we will see their power after training. maybe their danger level can increase.

and everyone is happy for todo and baku but i am dissapointed. they never learn anything from their fights, i mean yeah its good they have character developments but please people need to see they have a lot of lacks of seeing things. i still dont believe they realize whats really important. they need more and more character developments. i hope they can realize things and the thing that deku does something good, get punched. todo and baku do something good, get prasied :/ well i love them too but they are so far away to be true hero. a lot of people ignores this so i had to say :/ :/ :/ whatever

I have a lot of respect for Giran. He has a sense of code and won’t abandon it. Good on him. Though it would be nice if viz media didn’t censor that vulgar scene. Arc is looking good , hopefully we’ll see the League of Villains in a training arc because that would be so cool!

I feel like nothing bad should be able to happen to the league of villains from the scuffle because they literally just stole that serum that could take away powers. The idea that they then immediately lose to 1 guy seems ludicrous.
EDIT: okay, looks like the translation I read was a bit off so I misunderstood what the guy was saying in that panel. I thought it was one of the new villain’s lackeys being like "why would All For One pick these losers when we exist."
