You literally described every single reason I fell in love with this anime and why it’s one of my favorites of all time. And I even agree about the second half being not that good, tho that final battle with Suguru was sooooo fucking satisfying just to see Kirito wail on him repeatedly until he went bye bye!! I haven’t seen the second season tho, mostly cause while people online won’t shut up about how bad it is, while it really isn’t, what kind of annoys me about SAO it’s it’s Fangirls, and how they won’t stop bashing, bullying and insulting anyone who doesn’t ship Kirito and Sinon even tho they have no romantic chemistry and Asuna and Kirito are the ones who are a couple. It pisses me off and I tend to avoid Fangirls since they pretty much ruin everything. Still, I love ur review, and it’s nice to see another anime critic looking at this great anime without looking at it as "the new popular anime to hate on for no reason than because it’s popular". Subscribed! 😀

Wow! This anime kind of became Existenz from David Cronenberg? A little bit like the matrix too. Pretty cool to check out! You know what’s funny? I despise romantic movies from the most part, but I get a kick out of anime romance. Totally loved an Anime called Girl’s Bravo. Yukinari the main character is actually allergic to girls. Then he accidentally travels to another dimension where he goes to a planet where there are NO MEN, only women!  and then this alien girl Miharu are like meant for each other (since she’s not human, he’s not allergic to her)  But then Yukinari and Miharu get warped back to earth and like every episode is Miharu competing with other girls for Yukinari’s affection. I should totally hate it, but It’s all laughs and giggles for me. Great Review Captain!

    Dude, Great Review!
And I agree with whoever said you should do an Angel Beats anime review! That is one of my all time favorite animes!

In an unrelated thing. Do you have like an Anime Avatar? Like if someone would make a Captain Vitus, Ash Character…How will it look in an Anime? If you have one already, let me know where I can find it, and if you don’t, maybe you should like make an online contest to see who can draw you better in Anime form. That would totally Rock!

I liked this show, I didn’t think it was amazing, but I did think it was always fun! I liked what I saw of SAO2 more though, but I haven’t seen much of it.

How the hell can a full grown adult think this anime is actually good???? Is this a joke?? This anime has SO many plot holes and SO many cliches. I just.. seriously? SERIOUSLY? It’s a shitty love story that just happens to take place in VR.

Love the series. the new season is badass, and i can’t wait to see what this second arc is going be.
now i just have to find a way to balance out this season, plus the new seasons of Psycho Pass, and Log Horizon.
