   I have a theory for those of you that have seen Ordinal Scale;
   Yuki is Yuna.
   I don’t believe Yuna died in SAO, but was somehow infected by a terminal illness. I believe she had lied about going to a boss raid to attempt to help. During that time, she was running away because she was too scared of dying, and she went to hide in the Town of Beginnings with the other people that were afraid. And when she was finally released from the game, she was informed of her illness and was immediately sent to the hospital, where she was hooked up to machines that allowed her to play a new game without the fear of death, known as ALfheim Online. She had trained and dueled many great players and had fun dueling others on her own little island. Then she found Asuna, her best opponent yet. They both had fun while sparring, and eventually Asuna decided to join her guild, the Sleepy Knights. My final theory is that Yuna (or Yuki) died when everybody had held Yuki’s funeral in-game, and that’s the end of my theory.

   TL;DR: Yuna is actually Yuki and she died during her in-game funeral.
