Many people are confused either by my description or the trailer (or both). Let me clear some things up:
This IS a Studio Ghibli film. Walt Disney Studios, a production company, only purchased the rights to dub the film nto English and distribute it in North America. This is the trailer Walt Disney Studios made for the 2002 North American theatrical release of the film.

I completely fell in love with this film as a kid. Went through a fantasy phase because of it. I had an incredible dream about this but don’t know if anyone is interested in hearing it.

For years I thinked this film was a strange dream or strange something that I watched in the TV of my grandmather. I remember of the afraid for to see my parents turning pigs and to look at that black figure. I never forgot that until last year I discovered it was a movie. Better yet, a great and well-known movie with people who baked for the same situation, amazing!

I just watched this film a few hours ago and now I know why people praise it so much. With all honesty I can say that this film is something else. Really beautiful and entertaining. It makes you feel emotions you never felt, I don’t know how to describe it anymore, I definitely recommend it

I had heard about this movie for so long and finally got around to watching it, completely blind to what it was about. I ended up realizing that I had actually seen the movie back in kindergarten after remembering a few scenes. However, having an adult perspective of the movie made me love it even more.
