Damm I always thought Bakugo was "mad" because he got caught off guard by the punch but the girl fucking nailed it, he was mad cause Deku didn’t go all out with that punch (8%) like he could of and probably would of won against Bakugo, wow.

I just realized the realest thing about this fight. Bakugo’s face dropped out of a scowl at the start when he tells Deku "What part of you made All Might do what he did? Let me see it for myself." And I kept thinking how that part was how much Deku cared and was willing to be a hero even when he shouldn’t or there wasn’t anything he could do, and that’s not something Bakugo is going to see in a fight with him.
Then I realized I was wrong about that because in the middle of this fight with Bakugo going after Deku with everything he had, Deku saw Bakugo trip and walked over to offer to help him up because that is the exact sort of person Deku is. Just like Deku did when they were kids, and it isn’t about looking down on Bakugo or anyone, just offering help where you can.
It kinda messes me up realizing that Deku inadvertently showed Bakugo what he asked for and Bakugo didn’t realize it.

Nice! This episode was done amazingly. Also this kinda feels like the second Naruto vs sasuke fight (the one in the valley) where Sasuke finally acknowledges Naruto as being his rival to his face. Its giving me those same vibes of jealously of someone who was weaker than him and how he finally had to respect his strength. Plus like that fight sasuke won (barely lol). Anyway looking forward to when these two have a 3rd fight. Im guessing theirs will be after a time skip too.

Funny enough, she said Deku held back despite him actually going beyond 5% to 8%.
If anything, Bakugo diditn use everything he had as he didnt fight with intent to kill(like he usually does) plus his at the time emotional trauma, I mean yall remember the shit storm that it HOWITZER IMPACT!!!??
