Probably the 99th person to mention it, but the Cell Jr. "Curtis" is named for Takahata101 (Curtis Arnott), who voiced Cell for DBZA as well as Alucard (HUA) and Heathcliff/Kayaba (SAOA).

Curtis you’re one of my favorite reactors, but sometimes I just want to slap you. From the voicework to the song choice to the almost complete lack of editing, this was probably the single most *serious* scene in the entire series.

Akira Toriyama is one forgetful author. He had Android 8 revived why not 16. There are other things in dragon ball. He forgot about Saiyans having tails when Trunks, Goten, Pan, and Bulla. Trunks, Goten, and Bulla definitely should’ve had tails since they’re half Saiyan like Gohan (who had a tail) but Pan are understandable since they are 3/4 human but she should still have a tail since she still has Saiyan DNA.

Fun Fact: The song when Gohan transforms at the end – is an english version of the song that was used in the original Japanese version.
it’s called Unmei no HI – Tamashii vs Tamashii.

Goku does seem to have a habbit of bringing explosive beings or bombs to people mostly god and angel entities like king kai and the alarm clock bomb to whis. To be fair he needs to lock on to a life energy source to transport and knew whis would be fine. It’s funny though it seems all bad but it really isn’t at all.

Y’know YouTube group Blind Wave had one person who had watched DBZA another who had watched the anime and one who had never seen DBZ at all and they all watched DBZA and at the end the one who had never watched DBZ was able to keep up with any DBZ discussion up to the Buu Saga which just goes to show how good DBZA is at their job of abridging

the character development in dbz reallyt sucks lol.. the focus is mainly goku and some vegeta.. gohan kinda just fell off, wwhen he was such a great character duriong the cell saga.. and even before that when you knew he had hiden power. Then compare it to like FMAB for example.. every character progresses in some way.. and they all make an impact on the show, not just the main two characters. Really hope something great happens with gohan in dbs.. but at this rate it dosn’t seem like we wont get another cool moment in db like this.
