There is no ‘BEST’. It all depends on your taste. I personal love the romance in Howl’s Moving Castle due to me being a romance sucker. I also loved the happy going closed ending and beautiful animation. Others like TOTORO better while ppl like spirited away

The point of the video is to relive what a great movie PM is, so all you HMC and SA fans who say those movies are better can GTF! Those are extremely overrated movies. Us PM fans prefer the more aged and underrated movie.

I first watched this film when I was about 10. I don’t know why, but the fact the animals spoke and some of the creatures scare me, and still do (kinda, though not as much as before). Is that bad?

Disney even a trailer made awful. What for fiddleheaded blockheads sit in their studio? Such cool animated cartoon spoiled.

    October 10, 2018 @ 12:22 am

More aged and underrated? You’re insane.

This movie was released only four years prior to Spirited Away, and it received a damn-good reception (plus an entire behind-the-scenes documentary). If you want aged, try Grave of the Fireflies. If you want underrated, try Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu.

Until then, stow your elitist bullshit. All Ghibli is the best Ghibli.

I just watched this and I loved it!!! I can’t believe I haven’t seen this one before and I’m an anime fan and a movie buff! Definitely Miyazaki’s best along with Spirited Away. He is one of the greatest directors along with Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Akira Kurosawa, Francis Ford Coppola, The Coen Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Wes Anderson, Jean Luc Godard and Quentin Tarantino. Whoo, that’s a good list of greatest movie directors.
