Momotarō (Momonosuke) went on a journey and met a dog (Inuarashi), a monkey (Luffy) and a blue pheasant (Aokiji) to fight against the Oni (Kaidou and his Crew) on Onigashima (the demon island). He gave them kibidango (in One Piece from O-Tama) to follow him.

I think Shanks theory of time traveling to Marine Ford is not possible… as we have seen during this chapter that after using toki toki powers, the person on which the power is being used reaches the exact same location in the future…while for Shanks, he was fighting against Kaido at different location..not at Marine Ford…

What a time to be alive! chapter 920 early again this time, Oda wasting no time got straight to the point this time, With the reveal of the time time fruit. I think we can all agree that’s pretty sublime, the introduction of the most Op devil fruit of all time.

I’m very glad we have a long time frame established. One of my main problems with One Piece is that most major arcs happen over the course of a few hours. Like, the Paramount War was literally an afternoon long.

gud day mate.u missed to talked about pieces of broken story bout roger n whitbeard being in wano. sounds to me like port d rogue was from wano.sounds like WB n roger both fell for her. explains their rivalry n why ace would seek it out, his mothers homeland. toki is from d void century likely resposible for ponyglyps which r made in wano. time-time no mi 2 weeks. hate breaks

Well from that whole cliffhanger of an arc, I feel like we will get back into the Reverie soon. Not sure when though. I know you said that it takes place of a week, but that cliffhanger of Ume (Shadow King) holding Vivi’s photo makes me think that something happened within the time frame. Idk, just throwing out theories since we’re on break next week.

So there really was a time devil fruit! nice. and it can only be used to travel forward in time, even better 🙂 I’m certain Toki isn’t her real name, she’s literally named after her devil fruit? . She is from the void century calling it now
and i reckon Momo’s sister is still alive, not sure if it’s Tama or not tho otherwise Kiku should have recognised her.
Got so hyped when Kinenmon said they’re gonna fight Kaido in 2 weeks!! let’s gooo ?I thought it would be 4 weeks of preparation judging from Hawkin’s predictios but whatever let’s do this?.
we’ve still got to see Kid Killer X Drake and Apoo anyway, not to mention the Ryuma,Shusui, Orochi Poneglpyh plots. Also, I really hope Luffy learns to awaken his devil fruit, no better time and setting to start learning

People trying so hard to tie up the fact that Toki didn’t send Momo’s sister into the future… Hasn’t the royal lineage follow-ups in the world always been malecentric? That would explain why, if she could only save one, Momo would be selected. So he could reign again and continue his father’s work. And stop forcing his sister and the other samurai also being sent into the future… SOME bodies would have to be found or else it would be way too suspicious.

First of all, I think that we will have again a "split" between the Straw Hats… not because Zoro got lost, but because we still have a threat to deal with: Jack. I don’t think that Oda will have Luffy and the others fight Jack, then send them to Kaido. What I think is more likely is that near the time of the departure for the new island, Jack will arrive in Kuri and someone has to stay back to fight him and protect the land. Also, there’s still Orochi to take care of, and also the headliner (I hope that Holdem will still have something to do, and we still miss one headliner beside him and Speed). I think that most probably the one to stay back will be Zoro, Robin, Kiku, some other Straw Hats and maybe Bepo.
On to Momonosuke’s sister. I’m sure that somebody already thought of that, but I still think that she may be Tama. Let’s think about her (Tama, not Hiyori): Luffy and his crew has to fight an army probably composed mainly, if not only, of Zoan users, and Tama has ad ability that allows her to tame animals and… at least smile Zoan users. Doesn’t it seems too convenient? What I think happened is this
The fall of Wano and the Kozuki family probably didn’t happen in the span of a day, so Toki could have known that Kaido’s crew is composed mainly of Zoan users. If Hiyori already had her devil fruit power – and that could be, since Viola too had her devil fruit power when she was very young – her mother could have thought that she would have been vital to the fight against Kaido. But Hiyori was young, surely younger than Momonosuke… let’s say she was four year old when Oden died? Even with her extremely important power, Toki wouldn’t let a 4 y.o. fight against Kaido and his crew, she had to wait that Hiyori grew… at least to "match" Momonosuke’s age. So while Kinemon & co. were sent 20 years in the future, Hiyori and the braided hat-wearer retainer were sent 15/16 year in the future, so that Hiyori could grow and fight. At this point the missing retainer could be the Tengu-guy, since they now live in a village were the villagers made the same kind of hat the missing retainer wear.
Kiku couldn’t probably recognize her because she (Hiyori) grew, and Tama/Hiyori could have forgot about her face (as far as I recall, Kiku was never properly named when Tama could hear her name)… and conveniently the Tengu-guy was not present when Kiku arrived to the village.
Also, since the corpse of none of the nine red sheats were found, maybe Shutenmaru is one of them – since Kiku seemed to recognize the name

So a kid named Momo goes to an island that has Oni in its name, with the help of a monkey (Luffy), dog (Inuarashi) and pheasant (Law?). Way to reference the story, Oda. Also, that 2 week plan was pretty much thrown out the window the moment Luffy beat up Holdem, because they already notified Kaido and I doubt he would just sit on his ass waiting for them for 2 whole weeks.

Ehm the Tama is Momo’s sister theory seems actually even more likely to me now… Why shouldn’t their mom be able to use her ability twice on two groups? The other samurai really seems to be Hitetsu and Hyiori -> Tama, as they were sent not quite so far into the future, as to have the girl a bit older and able to understand the circumstances, as well as "divide the risk" into two separate groups.

This chapter is giving me 47 Ronin vibes and I like that, a just yet imperfect leader gets executed for no reason, evil overlord takes over and the leader’s men escape just barely and plot vengeance. This time we have an alliance and a Yonko in the mix so this should be interesting.
Hope to be in best comments video but think there must be something amusing to make it so fluffy bunny bananana pants.

Wait the thing that bothered you is something we see fairly often in OP. I mean in the same chapter we have a duble page spread with a shot that shows everyone in the middle (with background) but with only their reactions (as in only their face and a white background despite things being there) on the top and bottom in the same style as the one that bothered you. This is not the last time and its not even close to the first time this happened so I really wonder why did this one in peculiar stand out to you so much?

I don’t think Shanks could have this toki toki no mi, as it seems to only work one way and not changing the location at all, so unless Shanks developing the fruit differently, I don’t see how he could use it to reach Marineford faster.

I don’t think that Shanks has a DF. If he would he would have to get it after he gave his hat to Luffy plus from what we know so far the Time Time fruit can only be used to travel forwards in time. Its directly stated that going back is impossible so while it sounds amazing this fruit is actually pretty limited. Hell for it to work with Shanks stoping Akainu he would have to not just get to Marineford before anything started. He would also have to luck out with the timing and place since there is no indication that the user of this fruit knows the future or that they can travel to a different location while using it.
I know that people want Shanks to have some super OP DF because most of the community just can not accept that someone can be powerful without them (despite many MANY characters who fit with this description) but lets think a bit before we jump onto this train ok.
