Damn this promo. I remember seeing this in 2005 and my mind was blown forever. One thing is going into NGE I didn’t expect to have my brain raped….but it happened….and I enjoyed it…..Thanks Adult Swim for putting this on

I thought Neon Genesis Evangelion was pretty good but speaking from a writer’s objective perspective there at the very end I think the show went off into left field or to put it another way at the very end I think it jumped the shark.

The fact that CN still put this show on Toonami amazes me. It was only for 2 days for "Giant Robot Week" but still. CN were selling the box set in their website, I can’t imagine the parents buying this for their child and realizing what they just got.

I believe when they had it on Toonami for 2 episodes the rating was TV-PG. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had an episode that was rated TV-MA.
