Attack on Titan is one of those anime you will notice the most intricate details that make total sense everytime you rewatch, like where certain characters eyes are looking, to characters reactions to certain things, etc

Episode… 2 or 3… Jean argues with Eren, they get to a mutual understanding and respect.
Jean sees Mikasa, blushes, Jean compliments her long hair.
Mikasa joins Eren again, Eren tells her hair is getting long and she should cut it, she agrees. Jean overhears and loses all trust in camaraderie.

Jean was making the point of not everyone is willing to give their lives up for Eren so easily like Mikasa. So he better remember that because they have dreams and they have lives as well. Eren is now supposed to be humanities beacon of hope but he better not let them down.

It’s a fresh take to see behind the scenes before you start reacting to the show and there’s no video intro with music around but only at the end there is Tyrannosaurus Rex intro. Short sweet and to the point and I like it very much.
Nowadays people just spam with those video intros at each their videos that you need to watch or unecessary skip it. I’ts very annoying. Don’t go into that route please. Stay unique despite popularity in the future.

in the manga Jean was introduced to be less of an asshole to Eren and more of a realistic person, he teases Eren like in the anime but the Thomas speech in episode 4 belonged to Jean in the manga, but in general Jean is the most normal in the show

Jean never disliked Eren, he just thought he was being idealistic in his goal to exterminate the titans and him trying to illustrate that not everyone has a fire and passion to fight until they die just brought them at odds briefly.

to be honest I could hear you both just fine. Yes I use a headset to watch your aot watch trough not really sure if it makes a difference. maybe in volume a bit but I have no issue with it. True one sounds a less loud then the other though, so I guess that’s why people told you about the sound. anyway keep on watching it’s enjoyable to see people’s reactions that are new to the series.

For the mic placement, I think putting it directly in front of you, a little bit *away* from you would help even out the audio levels, which you could then fix by bringing up the gain a little bit in editing. It would make your setup a little more sensitive to noise, but I think would be the best compromise for one-mic recording.

Jean didn’t like Eren in the beginning cause he has a thing for Mikasa since episode 3
But it’s not really he doesn’t like him they’re comrades and they’ll fight for each other without having to love each other, and in that story thats what counts in the end
