“Emotionally overwhelmed” really sums up this whole episode. All throughout the whole episode you’re constantly flip flopped between hope and despair, and the ending is definitely bittersweet. All Might won, but his hero days are over. It’s Deku’s turn to take up the mantle and step up as a hero, but is he ready? Is the question.

? The really best part is that your still only about a quarter into the season…it ain’t over! Such great story telling and animation by Studio Bones. I definitely agree, folks are missing out dismissing anime as just a ‘kiddie cartoon’s.

Let’s be real AFO should have won. Out of all the quirks you’ve gathered over all these years those are the ones you pick? Really? The guy who set all this shit up for so long from the shadows chooses to opt out on the strategy that was already working….for what? If you want to make him suffer the worst death just toy with him on live television until he’s 1hp and then break all his bones and off him. Now unless getting captured was also apart of his plan and he will escape eventually to help tomura since him breaking out would mean "even restrained the villians can escape;we aren’t safe" this ending was fucking plot

My two favorite moments are the shot of All Might while you can hear the cries of *everyone* calling his name, and then that silent shot of Izuku crying while Bakugo looks over at him with an uncharacteristically blank expression.

The thing to remember is that All Might doesn’t hear the people cheering him on. All he hears is the voice of the woman pleading for help. That’s what gives him the strength to push forward. That one person needing help is all he needs to make him focus and give it his all.

Can we all stop and appreciate how awesome it was, after 3 seasons of build up and blatant death flags, All Might _defied_ all the "Mentor Death" setup and _won_ over it.

What I like best about the “Next, it’s your turn” line is that there’s a third interpretation that the anime doesn’t even touch on; not only is All Might sending a message to the villains and passing on his legacy to Izuku, he’s calling all the other heroes to action to fill the void in people’s hearts together that’s he’s now about to leave behind.

Everyone gets overwhelmed when watching this episode it puts you through the ringer.
It’s also how things progress from this point with the symbol of peace no longer there as a hero.

I unfortunately was spoiled on United States of Smash before I saw this episode the first time, cause I took way to long getting around to watching it. But even though I was spoiled, these past few episodes had me bawling, unsure if All Might was going to make it out alive or not. Endeavor’s part helped too, he’s a REALLY crappy person, but in that moment he ACKNOWLEDGED how he’s damaged his family trying to claw his way to All Might’s spot. With how we’ve known Endeavor up to this point, that’s kinda powerful.
