I find the development of this anime fascinating. First it was a 2013 Stage Play, which became a 2019 manga, and now a 2021 anime. Not the usual, but I think the differences between the descriptions of them show that this was a romance play, which became a historical action manga with romance on the side, to an ensemble anime with a larger focus on the group and their various histories. Think a mix of 91 Days time period and atmosphere, Tokyo Ghoul’s dark story with focus on the group, and Seraph of the End’s vampires. It’s been a long time since I tried anything with Vampires, but I think I’ll give this one a try.
