Tbh this is exactly what I’ve been thinking. For me One Punch Man season 2 was just lacking something I couldn’t put my finger on and it just didn’t feel right compared to season 1. Its not the bad animation or bad art because I watched Dragon Ball Super and managed to enjoy it even through its darkest moments art wise. Season 2 feels void of life and it’s sad since the series has so much potential.

I am simply entertained. When it comes to watching something, I don’t have a critical mind so I can watch ignoring implicit problems. U say it’s bad, I love it. That’s the pros of simply just watching. I feel sorry for u not enjoying this anime and just bitching way too much.

I gotta agree with your negative review with the previous 2 episodes. It feels rushed. However, in this episode it is getting better, like I can feel the emotions by the characters,like Saitama’s anger after Suiryu straight up insulted the heroes who are struggling rn, Suiryu’s frustration after he wasted all his moves to teach Saitama jack shit, and all the humour and jokes in this episode.
I dont really think that the last two episodes are bad or boring, it just feels rushed and does not have any rewatch values. This episode however starts to have rewatch value like the first four episodes, due to the emotions and the introduction of the other S class heroes that dont do jack shit in the last three episodes in season 1.
My suggestion to make these few episodes better by a lot is to briefly introduce the tournament and the monsters on episode 5, then focus on the tournament in episode 6 and the monsters in episode 7. That way it doesnt really feel too rushed and would not make the viewers feel so distracted on two major things in the same time and start to feel confused and negative about the season just because of these 3 episodes

You are wrong here. He has the same proportion as the manga. He really has a bigger physique making his head looks smaller. It’s the same for the manga and still the same in the anime. Yeah, it’s true that the animation is not as good as the previous season, but the character designs are still on point. You don’t know what you’re talking about here.

I feel like half of the time not even you know what you’re talking about.
All I hear is a senseless mumbling about how this season is worse than the previous one, but you fail on delivering the WHY of all the points you are making.
It feels like you aren’t genuinely expressing your thoughts on the show and just driving this narrative of "OPM Season 2 is bad" for no reason
I agree that this season has a lot of flaws in comparison to S1, not only technically but also in the pacing of the story, but focus less on what this show lacks and more on what it actually has to offer and you will realise that it represents what OPM is very well. Correct me if I’m wrong but someone here doesn’t get the show ? as simple and fun as the premise is.

Idk man. You’re almost basing this entire video, thumbnail, and title, all about Suiryu’s head. "One Punch Man Season 2 is just outright bad…" like come on man. It’s hard to enjoy this season when everyone is complaining about "still frames". Like some people are saying, his body is most likely bigger than his head due to him looking like a f@#$ing BODYBUILDER underneath (and if you’ve ever seen a picture of a bodybuilder you know that their heads be looking pretty small). How much sense would it make if his clothing wasn’t as big looking and made his body look "proportionate" to you’re standards, and then all of a sudden Saitama blows his clothes off and he’s hiding Escanor’s body underneath all of the clothing. This was somewhat of a problem in the manga due to him looking thinner/smaller with clothing on, and then bigger with his clothing off. It’s really not that big of a deal man. It just seems like you’re looking for things to complain about at this point. If we’re ALL AWARE that JC Staff isn’t gonna make OPM look as good as Season 1, then stop bringing it up. "I don’t want to beat a dead horse…", you’ve basically been doing that for your past couple reviews. J

anyone else getting the vibe that their plan is just to stretch out the plot so that they have enough content to fill season 2, so they can have a chance to make a better season 3 . season 2 so far took a plot and sub plot and stretched it through the past four episode so far and it hasn’t had its conclusion to both plots yet so we have gotten four episodes in the past four weeks with little substance to them. season one had some sort of conclusion in every episode. so it all just feels like they are just halfheartedly getting things done to keep the hype and buy time for them to do better. just my opinion

Way too much blur during fights like you can’t actually see the motion of a character it’s kinda blurry and there’s the white background when a attack happens it’s so lazy at least blur the background when they make characters fight instead of giving us some white or coloured background lol ?

Just went back and retread the manga watching this episode….. and realized they crammed 4.5 chapters into this one 22 minute episode ?just for perspective they usually only animate 2-2.5 chapters per episode. The pacing felt off because they rushed this episode and skipped A LOT of content. That samurai meeting was so much better in the manga it had an entire chapter but they rush through it in 4 minutes?. Saitamas punch on suiryu was clearly the only thing they put effort into this episode cause it was the only good part?
