I would recommend you to actually care about what the extras or secondary characters has to Say or how they act, because you don’t know when they’ll steal the spot, plus it makes the world more rich, it wouldn’t be that fun if everyone was on the same page
Plus this is not a show of the rise of a hero but the raw of human fear but of course with a lot of action. So expect characters to cry, fear and rage, and not to align with Eren at all.

The problem with putting so many episodes in 1 YouTube reaction is that you have to skip way too much scenes due to the copyright issues.
At the very most you should do 2 per YouTube video, you can still watch 6 at a time if you want to do that, but just split it into 3 YouTube videos to show longer footage, more of your reaction and still easily avoid any potential copyright strike.
Also, check your Business Email for the viewing order, it includes the OVA’s and has been very carefully thought out and will give you the best experience of the show.
It also mentions all the episodes that will have an end credit scene where you have to let the outro play out fully.

I love your reactions, and I just can’t wait to see you watch the rest of the show! as to answer your question as to where the survey corps were during the breach…we can see the entire squad leaving the walls for an expedition a few episodes back. literally the most capable millitary force left the city just HOURS before the colossal titan appeared, leaving mere trainees to protect the place, which is why so many people died and the retake was delayed. the survey corps got back a little late, but just on time~

Also if you got spoiled on certain parts of the story, the journey to get to that point will still blow your mind and the way this show executes the story is just *chef’s kiss* so I’d still recommend staying away from spoilers but thats just not entirely possible so now at least you having to be excited about for the upcoming seasons. Also don’t forget the OVA’s, they’re like mini side stories that adds more depth to the characters we see in this masterpiece, so definitely check them out.

Fun fact: Whenever a titan is wounded, the injured site releases steam and regenerate. While Eren was holding up the huge ass boulder, he was constantly being crushed by the weight of it and his body was working overtime to heal it, that explains the massive steam emanating from him.

So my answer as to how many episodes to do per video is gonna be a little less straightforward. It depends on where you are in the series. For the most part 3-4 episodes can be fine but there are some episodes that can really carry their own reaction and people might seek out to find that specific episode. An example of that you’ve already seen is season 1 episode 5 because it contains the “death” of Eren. It’s one of the more exciting points to see in someone’s reaction journey and I’d say it’s a kind of fandom tradition to troll the reactor into thinking he’s really dead. So I think it would be a good thing to find someone familiar with the series to advise you (in a way that avoids spoilers as much as possible) on how to group episodes together so the significant episodes (like 1×5) have room to breath and people can see all the reaction glory at the most shocking points in the series.
Also you got PLENTY of time to finish all 4 seasons. While the fourth season is being branded as the final season, there’s going to be something (most likely a movie) to finish the story. I’ve read the manga as well, and there’s way too much to fit in the remaining episode count that’s been announced.

Great reaction. In my opinion, what you should do is now watch 3 episodes per video until you reach episode 25, the last episode of the 1st season. After episode 25, you should see the first 5 OVAs of the series (they were premiered between the 1st and 2nd season; I recommend making 2 videos about the first 5 OVAs: one watching the first 3 OVAs (these OVAs are called Ilse’s Notebook (OVA 1), A Sudden Visitor (OVA 2) and Distress (OVA 3)), and another video to watch OVAs 4 and 5, which form the 2 parts of A Choice with No Regrets). Then you can already react to the episodes of the second season.

Honestly, keep MARCO’s death in your mind. It is VERY important. And he was a great character. He knew how to bring the group together, he was smart, he read people well and hyped them up. I’ll give you an advice, take side characters, their actions, opinions seriously. In Attack On Titan, even Eren, Mikasa and Armin are side characters sometimes, every character is equally important and if you’re calling season 1 a masterpiece, Idk what will Season 4 be for you.

about 5 to try and caught up because there are currently 75 that have been Dubbed and 80 episodes overall that are made. So if you’re betting to catch up before it’s all dubbed then I’d give you a max of 25 weeks from the 22nd since that’s when they’ll start putting out dubbed episodes weekly on Funimation.

As it stands, there are 81 episodes. With the last 6 there will be 87. You’ve watched 13, so that leaves you with 74 total to watch over the 44 days between today and March 27, when the final episode will debut (there’s also a movie, I believe, but I’m not factoring that in).
So: if you do 4 episodes every other day, you should catch up no problem. If you get ambitious and do more you can even watch the last few as they come out!

if you watch 6 episodes you can finish the season in 2 videos. next season has like 12 episodes so you can finish season 2 in 2 videos and season 3 has 22 so that can be finished in like 4 videos. basically you can finish the whole show in like 3 weeks. there are at least another 8 episodes that are gonna be released for the last season before they finish it (ive read the manga). basically you have like a good 2 months before the show is done which means its very possible to watch the whole show before the final season ends. but dont rush it. watch as many episodes as you feel youre able to watch and enjoy the show. if by some miracle you do finish it in the next two weeks then i suggest reading berserk. its by far the greatest masterpiece and i dont say that lightly. its way darker than AOT but at the same time its way more beautiful in its story and art. my number 1 bar non

Let’s see…..you’re in season 1 still, which has 25 episodes. You still have season 2 which has 12, and season 3 which has 22. Season 4 part 1 has 16, and part 2 should have around 12 to 15 episodes, depending upon what the creators already decided. This last Sunday’s episode was #80, which means you’ve got a long way to go. You’ve already watched 13 so far over a period of 1.5 to 2 weeks. That means that each week’s average is about 6 to 8. If you keep it up, that means that in about 9 to 10 weeks, you’ll have caught up. The problem is that we’ve already passed episode 5 of part 2 (episode 80), which means there are only about 7 to 10 weeks left, again depending on whether we get 12, 13, 14, or 15 total episodes for this part. That means that you need to do about 9 or 10 episodes a week to catch up and not sell your channel to someone else. Thus, 5 episodes per biweekly video should do the trick.

they always add enough in every single episode that you just crave more no matter how many episodes you watch. Love you watching all this! And i agree with others, i’d like 3-5 eps per episode given they could possibly be made a little longer (feel it’s a big difference doing 3 eps in a 20min reaction video compared to trying to cram 5 eps into the same amount of time). That would make a good pace for catching up to the most recent season and gives leeway for you to do less/more in a single video depending on how heavy the content is of those eps.

Don’t mean to be like this, but like when you make these videos with more episodes in them while retaining that 20 or so minute time, that takes each episode down to like 5 minutes. Skipping over 3/4 of the anime episode in the reactions, but I get it.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand. Maybe you could do 1-2 episodes per video just more often? But I’m sure that’s more work. Either way, glad to see that you’re enjoying Attack on Titan as much as you are. It only gets better from here, we haven’t even hit NEAR the climax of this show yet.

When u mentioned the talking during the fight I was just laughing. Just remember, time flows differently in anime when characters gotta have their monologues- Jojo for example lol. Things like explaining their power and talking when people could just kill the enemy/hero/character is also common in anime.
Kinda like when movie characters randomly decide the best time to kiss is in the middle of a fight/battle scene and somehow don’t end up dead, just don’t think too deeply about it but it’s great to see you enjoying AoT! Can’t wait for more! 3, 4, and at max 5 episodes would be good for a reaction and since you want to catch up before the final season ends.
Also, ppl PLEASE don’t spoil him. If we want the reactions to capture the essence of a first time AoT experience, don’t spoil. For shows where I was spoiled while I’ve gotten numb to it, things where I hear other people cried about, I would just gloss over with an ‘ok’ bc I was spoiled and AoT is so complex that spoiling would indeed- maybe not ruin but, take away from the experience.

Attack on titan has 4 seasons but is constructed in ‘arcs’ consisting of 12eps each arcs thus it could be cool if you watch 6 or 3 at a time. The seasons are constructed as follows:
Season one: 24eps(2 arcs)
Season two: 12eps(1arc)
Season three: 24eps(2arcs)
Season four: 24eps(2arcs) the 2nd arc is running atm
Must watch extras include:
Attack on Titan OVAs( 3 eps expanding on the survey/training corps)
-Attack on titan OVA: No regrets part 1/2(delves deeper into Levi’s backstory)
-Attack on titan: Lost girls eps 1/2/3 (extra episodes regarding annie leonhart and mikasa ackermann)
These extras will be spoiler free concerning the main series should you watch them after the 1st season except for lost girls which gives minor spoilers up until season 3 so you should only watch lost girls afterwards.

I really appreciate when you said you really love their dialogue. The dialogue is the life of the show. The trueness of their emotions portrayed as humans, you can really understand them. Unlike other animes where it’s just too good to be true, in AOT, they’re showing the vulnerability of humans which we all can relate.

i realy enjoy the videos, i wanted to rewatch the first 3 seasopns by myself.
since i am watching the final season currently, but just when i wanted to start season 1 again i found your channel.
because youtube recommended me yoour youseebiggirl reaction, and i loved your energy,
so now i am rewatching AOT with you and an other youtuber whoo also started the anime.
but i have to say its so much more fun seeing someone new falling in love with AOT then just rewatching it on my own.

if you start getting confused about a small detail or anything or something feels some kind off for you.

And you will realise alot of foreshadowing that happened without even realising in beforehand.
This is my favourite show of all time honestly.
And i dont even watrch much manga.

I have no idea about this guys backstory. But I have pretty strong ADHD and I get as excited and overwhelmed with emotions almost just like him. Different people have different levels of excitment. Just cuz you watch it with a blank face, doesnt mean everyone does the same. I am jumping on my chair and POGing in real life when watching this show. Armin isn’t fearless and ruthless like Mikasa and Eren seem to be. However, he is able to overcome his fear, which in my opinion is more impressive than not feeling any at all. It’s why he’s one of my favorite characters in this show.

there are 3 episodes left in final season . When i was catching up to one piece, i did 24 episodes per day, you can do at least 24. which is ~9 hours. But that would not allow you to catch up. you need to do all of them. A 24 hour stream and catch up in one day.

Levi, Erwin and all of the survey corps went outside the walls some episodes back. That’s why they weren’t there till episode 13. They were on their way back to trost and that’s why Levi asked “what’s going on” after he eliminated two Titans.
