Honestly I didn’t think anything of it when kirito’s sword got longer. I just thought "Well I guess his power boosted".

No one hasn’t read the LN about his sword, after all in this arc Kirito can not or hasn’t had much control of his sword/technique hence why it extended so much, the disadvantage of that is that his range becomes longer and he has to many openings and will get struck down because his movement has gotten slower and no this isn’t anything like friendship power or whatever, Kirito will lose his plot armor at some point in time so the story can continue without him.

Kirito is understandably stressed out.Likely he understands at some level that his is broken, mortal, and most likely DYING. And that he is trapped in that world as a CRUTCH, while the outside world may be progressing on without him. He doesn’t know about the time dilation.
And he probably hasn’t realized yet that Eugeo is most likely an AI clone of him intended to help repair his BRAIN DAMAGE.
GOD that’s depressing.

I did like this episode but the only thing I think they should have done is have kirito win against that guy n have him ask for a duel against those guy because if hpthey don’t get stop they will keep messing with him n it’s true I bet he misses him girlfriend n his friends and family alot

I honestly don’t get why people pick on sword art online just because kirito gets more powerful… So what? Episode 8 so far to me is the best episode in the season the fight scene was epic like always, I’ve always been a fan of Sao I love the characters the story etc and season 3 is Sao in its best form and I can’t wait to see more development

The Attack on the flowers was actually was possible because, the pot and the earth in where the flowers were, didn’t belong to anyone. In the underworld there is a rule that doesn’t allow to steal so as long something belong to someone it can’t be stolen or damaged. Property is secured through the system but because Kirito never said the flowers belong to him they were not protected. And in the night they were destroyed Kirito actually said for the first time the pot and the earth within are his property.

~14.3 years pass in the underworld for every day in krito’s world. yes I did the math I did this by dividing the 300 years that past in the underworld by the number of weeks that past in krito’s world which was 3 to arrive at the conclusion that 1 week in krito’s world was 100 years in the underworld I then divided the 100 years that past in the underworld by the 7 days that had past in krito’s world to arrive at ~14.28 underworld years per kirito’s world day but, I went even further and divided the ~14.28 years that past in the underworld by 24 to arrive at the number of years of underworld time pass per krito’s world hour which was ~0.6 years for those who were interested

That swordfight was one of the most stupid fights I’ve seen in anime. "Fuck strategy, fuck dodging, I’m just gonna whack his sword multiple times to cancel out his attack and hit with mine. And if it doesn’t work, I’ll use my imagination to win".
They hyped it so much in the previous episode but it was such a disappointment. I hope this is the last time we see shit like this in this series.

So the "First Seat" was unable to dodge from a mud splat and a "newbies" sword strike. I’m sorry but as much as they might wanna make this sound realistic the first seat seems to be a complete moron that has no skills whatsoever and he also gets beat again a few minutes later by someone who thought she would never have to chance to beat…
Absolute trash character, I like how the series is going so far but this was just plain stupid.

This anime is before accel world timeline. If you watch accel world, there are the same concept by using imagination called "incarnation system" which basically use the same principle. Some incarnation attack, if you read accel world light novel, can even harm something out the system like wall and npc for example, which out of boundaries.

Dang. This got really deep. Alicization has started to get really good and I’m glad that sao is getting really good. Whenever I first watched sao like 1 1/2 years ago, I loved it in the Aincrad arc but then in the fairy dance arc I didn’t enjoy it as much and then came sao 2. Do I really have to explain myself, it just went downhill. And the there was also ordinal scale and I literal loved that movie because it showed struggle and same thing with the first sao arc and I think that is why everyone likes alicization.
