I was scared of the Darkside as a kid but the older I got the less scary he was. I have now come full circle and am now afraid of the Darkside again 😭
Kingdom Hearts 4 will certainly be existential. I think the KH characters are a little confused about which is truly the world of fiction. I hope Sora and Riku find out that Kingdom Hearts is a video game in Quadratum and have to grapple with what that means for them.

I think Kingdom hearts could be terrifying like what if Sora in Quadradom find out their is a video game about his adventures like how Yazora was in a game in the toy story but in another reality he is real Sora begins to question if he or anything in his Life is real or fiction and he has a mental breament and Question himself.

At the end of the day, Sora’s story ended in kh2 I only really care about the Union X era, would rather have a remake for that than KH4

I really hope in IV we can actually play as different characters alongside Sora. If Sora ends up teaming up with new allies, maybe it can be a team up switchable gameplay! I would love to see that concept!

Personally, I hope we get to see some more dark stuff in KH4. Some of my favorite moments in the KH series have been its darkest and or saddest parts. And by the way KH dark road ended and The direction the series has been going I just know that KH4 will not disappoint!

Sora will go back home where he came from since he is Sora himself, Master HMK. He is “the key” who bring back those who once lost and now he’s going to bring himself back home through the same way. Furthermore, he can’t be Sora everyone knows if he’s giving up right now after all the hardwork he made. Sora deserve a happy ending with his friends since we all love Sora who he is.

I want to see Sora team up with the avengers, he should show up after Loki stole the tesseract, at the ruins of shield base Sora wakes up only to be surrounded by guards in heavy armor pointing their rifles at him, shield captures Sora but he then escapes, nick fury sees him as a worthy candidate for the avengers initiative so he convinces the council of shield to allow him to help track down Loki, Thor and Loki since they are gods they know about the keyblade and a ancient keyblade war, I like to imagine they have Kingdom hearts counterparts during the events of dark road. I don’t know how the story would go but it would be interesting to see Sora team up with Captain America and iron Man during the Battle of New York and maybe a secret boss fight with Thanos with all the Infinity Stones!

I’m ok with more mature themes in Quadratum. Dark Road was a cool precursor to that happening.
But personally, I’m more invested in Kairi and what she can do back in the regular KH universe, during this game’s events. Perhaps her own game (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)?

KHIV is what i been excited for. I hope this new phase will add more Final Fantasy characters for the gang to meet. I bet Master of Masters and the Foretellers are around Final Fantasy level of power.
