iv bin wanting to watch the film, but after watching two reviews and several fb comments I’m don’t even want to bother. what a shame to a great series. I hate modern leftist interpretations of entertainment.

The Japanese dub of the Netflix 2017 movie also used new voice actors and didn’t get the original Japanese voice actors to reprise their roles. It’s not like in the Ghost of the Shell movie where Atsuko Tanaka, the voice of Motoko, actually came back to reprise her role and dubbed for Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal as the character, who is later to be revealed as Motoko.

In the Death Note anime, Light was voiced by the famous Mamoru Miyano, but in the Japanese dub of this crappy American film, he was voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki, dubbing for Nat Wolf’s portrayal as him. (Yeah, Netflix is available in many countries and they all tend to get the same stuff on the same day and with dubbed versions released as well, Japan recently got Netflix on September 2, 2015.)

Do you think the Americanized version of Death Note should have had just Asian characters?

I screw up on "L’s" actor name as his name is Lakeith Stanfield not Keith like I mention in the review, I mispronounced Light’s dad name wrong, it’s Soichiro not Shochiro, and I said John Turner once when I mention his name close to the end of the review when his name is James as that was terrible oversight on my part! So, I hope you all enjoy the review, otherwise.

This is an interesting review. I have a good question. What were your thoughts on the 2017 Mummy movie?
