I worked on the special features for the Disney DVD release 15ish years ago.
The hopping lamp was Miyazaki’s nod to Pixar.
Try why I consider the definition of movie magic, My Neighbor Totoro. There are several mostly wordless scenes that I would describe as actual perfection. And the kids are voiced by a very, very young Dakota and Elle Fanning (or as the original transcriber of their interview wrote before I retranscribed the whole thing, “Alf Annings.”)

Have you seen the anime “Hibike! Euphonium”. It’s about the imaginary Rikka High School Band. They’re suppose to be a famous unbeatable marching band nicknamed “Light-Blue Devils”. The anime is based off of a real life high school band, the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band, also known as the “Orange Devils”. Recently it became very popular to react to the Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band, they are considered one of the top performing high school bands in the world, maybe you’ll like this to react to. https://youtu.be/toGxAWtWIM0
