Hello Ben. I have a question. When ur building u can move a + sign and build without being on the roof. I’m new to DQB2 how do u do that? Is that an option on settings or what?

Does this mean that I need to remove the doors to the toilets and showers? I’ve hit the max amount of people and animals on my island though, I’ll have to send a few animals away for this to work 😂

The best strategy is to have an area you’ve yet to build much in
only build a shop
Make them sleep on the floor until they complete this tedious tablet target

Question – I set up my animal pens as directed for raising more animals, and the cows and chicks keep procreating, but I can’t seem to get the dogs, cats or sheep to do the same … what can I do to rectify that?

Du kannst zudem eine Glocke in oder um den Shop stellen. Dann sind sie sofort in der Nähe versammelt 👍

It is always the problem, they ask you to build the shop inside the pyramid, then I have to destroy it and build it outside for them to even think of going shopping. Not to mention 200 is needed for the tablet targets.

I just want to say thank you for being so kind and sharing all these useful tips and strategies on DQB2. I am quite late to the DQB2 party, but this particular video (there are a few others as well for sure) where if it weren’t for this, I never would have sold a single item. Somebody already said this, but shops don’t work if the tables have a block behind them. And extra tables mean nothing if you don’t have more merchants

My brain is too big and exploding my head, use the items made with infinite, so then you can get infinite, so that means infinite items

I’ve had an item shop for the longest now. I still haven’t sold anything. It’s been months. None of my merchants sell a thing or even hang out in the item shop. WHY?! 😭

I love your videos!!! They teach me things all the time!! Thank you for sharing. I have a quick question I’ve built 2 shops one at the green area one at the red area, both have 2 merchants, I’ve used decorations as the items to sell, I’m trying to sell 50 items before I start the next chapter in the game so I can organize my inventory, I’ve only sold 30 things in about 4 in game weeks… is there something I’m doing wrong? Should I only have 1 store? Or have I just not waited long enough?

I just traped all my villagers in the item shop because they never went there and got the task completed pretty quickly. It’s a bit odd walking around your village with no one in it but yay it gets the job done

My merchant is a dud. He hasn’t sold anything, ever. I’m going to set up tables in the bar and see if they’ll sell there.

You could have used Adobe walls because it changes colour from Brown to white the higher you build it and looks almost an exact match to the colour pattern you used for your merchant shop also I find it’s a very nice pattern to go with on any beach area and the windows With extension block’s. Maybe a sun umbrella outside and a deck bed too lol

I think the most important thing to mention is that merchants need to get behind the tables. Otherwise the shop will still “count” but never actually work as intended. This took me far too long to realise 😂
