Still loving bitch Ayano. This is a girl who is thoroughly fed up with the way people have been treating her and it is a truly innovative characterization for a dark-haired female character. I was hoping her mother would have approached her by now, but that seems to be something for later. Connie getting on the wrong train while mumbling nastiness was funny and a little cute lol Meanwhile this was a really great episode centering on Nagasi and Nozomi, with a good story about Nozomi learning to stand up to her bully coach and making her own decisions. A really great episode, proving you don’t need the boring old trope of the psycho blonde being mean to the goody-goody brunette in order to write an entertaining story about sport.

The coach with the glasses seems to be a jerk, he thought pressure and strict training will do but does not realize the girl’s feeling on how she play badminton. I’m also glad that Nagisa won Nozomi which helps her to made the other coach jerk see his errors in coaching. I like this part of the episode where Nozomi is realizing why she plays badminton. This allows Nozomi to be true by playing her own style in badminton. This possibly made him supporting character later in the future.

For Ayano is going to the dark side slowly but progressing. The way she plays and acts are very dark yet sad at the same time. What Ayano said is true, Elena Force her to go into the club. I felt that Elena is also part of the blame since she didn’t realize Ayano’s Mom abandoning her and didn’t know that it wasn’t Ayano’s joy of quitting badminton.
