Riko is a great character when she is supporting her teammates and helping others reminding what their real goals are. Also I felt disgusted when Ayano’s Mom show up to watch Ayano’s matchup against Kaoruko. She show up at Ayano’s first comeback season match for along time. Ayano’s Mom have no heart for her child when Ayano needed her mom the at her worst critical point after her lost. Or Uchicka just wanted to watch her “new so-called prodigy daughter, Connie” in her first Japanese Badmiton March for the semi final. Cuz if she ignores Ayano again, I will never forgive her for what she had done to Ayano in the past years she suffered.
After all all, the mother returns to watch Ayano’s comeback when her true daughter is in her high school years. Uchicka never even stayed longer at home, she just goes around the world extending her glory and pride without even bonding with her daughter for a bit of time. Simply to put it that she really don’t care what the results Ayano performs. Or she just want to watch the match of her new daughter Connie. Seriously, I’m still angry that this mother just gave up her daughter and abandon her for the past years after her lost. However I’m rooting for Ayanoto with in her matchup against the spoiled rich brat Kaoruko! Kaoruko is one of the person who’s responsible for the Ayano’s horrible trauma and Uchicka’s poor parental guidance by leaving to focus of her pride in badminton and training her “new so-called prodigy daughter”!
Ayano’s Mom shows her responsibility as a mother very poorly how to support Ayano while she goes off to another country in hopes to seek and train Connie as her new replacement as her own prodigy daughter! Not even Uchicka couldn’t even make a phone call or send a letter to any family members for what, secrecy to watch the play? Either the Mom change her attitude or her own lust for glory and pride in badminton will eventually destroy her in both her life and career.

Kaokuro would be a wreck when she faces ayano on the next episode…look at ayano’s eyes…they’re dead scary….and the glimpse of ayano’s mother…i think my speculation was right…she’s not the most hated nor the worst mother afterall…
