GREATEST Anime Episode I’ve Seen in A Long Time! | My Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 11
After countless years of watching anime…. My Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 11 is the best episode I’ve seen for a Shonen in a long time. Thoughts on the Two Symbols competing with each other in this episode? All Might vs All For One was a sight to behold… This truly showed why Studio Bones is a perfect studio to adapt and animate Boku no Hero Academia. Ready for My Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 12 aka 50 next week?

Ok, haven’t watched the video yet because spoilers, here’s my experience though. I’m trying to watch this anime but so far I just CANNOT STAND it. I just started on episode 3 now, and it seems like this shows just takes massive amounts of time to explain simple, easily predictable plot points and the reactions are wayyy over-the-top and melodramatic. Can someone please tell me if this gets better throughout the series? Everyone seems to really like this anime but I don’t see why.

and the reason for all might to be alive yet might be for a moment like, when the mc goes crazy and freaking strong when his most beloved icon or figure dies in front of him….for something like that which will help beat the evil in front of midoriya and become the number 1 hero…even tho all might is powerless, him been there will still make people believe he is the number 1 hero…so maybe tht moment i mentioned might happen and midoriya will become the number 1 hero,as it is said in the monologues….’"this is the story on how i became the greatest hero"

Why don’t One-for-all steal All-for-one’s power. The power that was given to One-for-all was to stack powers. How was he able to stack powers if not take them. Remember All-for-one didn’t know his younger brother had another latent quirk in him, which was to pass it onto others

The test is to see how things unfold. Could say All Might can only watch as things crumble. Or his point is well made. The world needed a pillar and he provided that. While he stood there the world matured, strengthened, and numerous people were inspired to become heroes. The world shouldn’t just fall apart because he isn’t a hero any longer. Rather he has to wait and see if his ideals and efforts bore fruit. He can’t keep everything together, but he inspired others throughout his life. Those people are his legacy and will define how the future unfolds.

And they did this without really having any "insane animation" don’t get me wrong the animation was great but I wouldn’t say it was as good as Deku vs Todoroki yet it was still miles better and id have to say this was my favorite moment in anime and the only time anime has made me cry (and I read the fucking manga) But the sad thing is that for people who are from the outside looking in or people who don’t really enjoy the series that much. It was like that for me and Naruto from all the people telling me to watch it caused me to get into it from a bad angle and the fights looked cool but because I wasn’t as emotionally invested into it, it meant nothing. So it sucks that I see people confused by why people love this so much and are probably getting pissed off because of people saying it was one of the best and comparing it to fights from Dragon ball and naruto etc.

My favourite thing about this show is the way it can mix light-hearted humour and joyful moments with complete and utter travesty with the villains and how brutal and evil they are and how the tone can just flip it’s one of the best qualities of this show and the music oh the music is brilliant every single scene when the music is there especially with all for 1 the menacing nature it’s just amazing and I can’t think of any other show that even comes close as awesome as this one

also…all mights arm was all purple…but when he took that ball like figure with the one for all power from nana..the arm turned back to normal and normal in color…it went from being purple back to normal….maybe midoriya will also get something like that in the future…that might be symbolizing something to happen in the future..considering how frequently midoriyas arm turn purple.

I already knew what was going to happen, because I read the manga, but.. I fucking cried my ass off when Shimura was reaching her hand out for Toshinori and said that he has to give it his best. That final smash was beautifully animated by Bones and I have to say that the anime was even better than the manga in this episode. Dear lord, I fucking love that emotional rollercoaster of a show.

I never realized the entresols being strewn out was All Might charge All For One despite All For One thinking he won!! Then pointing out how All Might learned the fake out and pushing past your broken body from Midoriorya. Mind Blown from the episode alone, then your review was AMAZING as well, THANK YOU!!!

The voice acting and story was good but the fight was kind of lame. It was a classical shonen no brainer where the protagonist gets beaten around for some time then one shots his opponent after friendship power.

Ah just had a brilliant idea, I want to see how well the dub stands up to the sub of this episode, wow All For One doesn’t stand up at all… All Might is like 80% of the sub, the sub for this episode was just soo good being 80% is still brilliant, if any single episode of anime ever deserved to be 10/10 this was it, the dub of this episode is 8 out of 10.

Just my opinion, All Might learned to use parts of the body to channel All for One from Izuku. There is one episode All Might says that he never thought of using the power that way. 🙂

I’m actually conflicted with what interpretation is better. I feel like the subs voice acting was strangely a little better than the dubs because All Might voice actor legitimately had me in tears with how incredible his voice acting was. I was in genuine panic with what happened with All Might, and I felt like I was almost being attacked myself because my hero was in pain. However, Chris Sabats interpretation was also incredible. I don’t mean to sound prejudice, but I feel like the english version had better worded dialogue. I felt connected to everything All Might said in the English dub, and ended up cheering for All Might at the end when he took his final stand against All For One. Finally, I have to give the best "United States of Smash" unfortunately to the sub version. I adore Chris Sabats voice so much, but I actually question if the japanese voice actor stabbed himself in the studio just to maintain that incredibly realistic pained scream. He gave his all, plus ultra, and honestly this episode wont be topped for a while.

I was disappointed with how chris sabot sounded in the english dub when the time came for the united states of smash. It wasn’t nearly as loud and guttural as it should have been.

The first thing that impressed me the most was the scene with endeavour. God damn the voice actors did a great job. Then the united states of smash caught me 200% off guard. Then the stance of victory. Got goosebumps with that. Finally the message to midoriya. But Endeavour scene was underrated gotta appreciate his dedication.

Holy shit. This episode was so good, I first watched it subbed then I watched it dubbed so I could watch it with my more casual friend who only watched anime dubbed. You know an episode is so good when even the dubbed episode is so emotionally charged.
The Boku No Hero Academia dubbed has always been pretty decent, but this episode really shows that dubbed anime can still be good and can still bring a grown man to feels.
