Of course after the ending of episode 9 of grancrest senki everything feels kinda tame in this anime but Margerat death was still pretty impactful even do she had Valmar had a gigantic death flags on them all the time so it was very little to no surprise they died.

That being said do, the general battle felt really stupid, so he has navy and he has soldiers why not use those soldiers to weaken their soldiers before you run out there and kill their lowest ranked knights to later just get shoot at by those black elite knights, like their suicide dance of fire really amounted to kill the lowest valued soldiers of her army.

And also why is not all his vassal lords helping out like Theo…..

Than I guess that Laura would have had to serve them as they took the grancrest and took her contract? I wish the anime would explain stuff like that and that is why she committed suicide so she would not have to be their mage.

And as always any women with an Axe is a crazy murderer enjoying the bloodshed.
