   Great review! GeGeGe no Kitaro is my childhood anime, so I’m extremely happy to see so many YouTubers finally making videos about it. The 50th anniversary has really expanded the fan base outside of Japan.

   GGGnK didn’t necessarily replace DBS. Because of it’s historical significance and popularity, Kitaro gets a new adaption every decade, and it was just time for it to come back. The 2007 adaption aired on April 1st with the same timezone, too.

   Since GGGnK is such an iconic Anime, I’d think they will only give us some background about Kitaro and his father just to review what many people already know, but since this adaption is so far reaching, I’m hoping we get to see some things re-animated. If there’s any lasting questions about the show, I likely have an answer!

   The episode was likely in pre-production long before the Logan Paul fiasco, but I’m sure the directors wouldn’t argue against the idea of exposing him for the obnoxious guy that he was through this show. Since this adaption is set in the modern era, I’m sure it’ll be using satire quite often throughout the show.

   I’m definitely subscribing, I look forward to seeing what you think in the coming episodes! I already have an idea about how episode 2 may go down because of the preview, but I’m still excited. Thank you for making an Animinute on GGGnK!
