FLCL – "I love you."
This is my favorite scene in FLCL. Watching Naoto’s shy, yet earnest, confession of his love and Haruko’s surprised yet flattered reaction (inferred from her blushing) sent a flood of positive vibes to my heart the first time I saw this scene on [adult swim]. I don’t know why it had such an affect on me. Maybe it’s because I find it touching watching someone express heartfelt feelings in a way that is so honest and direct that their left emotionally vulnerable.
Anyways, I’m uploading this video in case anyone else wanted to see just this scene and was searching for it, just as I was before.
I finished watching FLCL for the first time on [adult swim] about a month ago before Kekkaishi began airing in its place. I might not rewatch the whole thing again, but I’ll definitely keep coming back to this scene.

Okay I came back here cause I do every so often I don’t think they were ever going to be together in a relationship I don’t think Haruko knows how to do that but I believe she cares for him it starts out using him to get the power but she cares for him she’s protected him before and she does ask him to go with her but says he’s too young letting him live his life and grow into whoever he’s going to be and everyone like omg the age gap Haruko isn’t even really human she’s some kind of alien or inter dimensional being

This anime in only 6 episodes made me love it and rewatch it, the soundtrack is S tier and yeah it may be confusing but the more you watch and pay attention the more you’ll get the message.Side note: the animation for fkn 2000 in this is fucking amazing!

It completely blows my mind that knowing the power of Atomsk that Naota has, she would make a completely useless threat like "I’m not gonna go easy on you, you’ll regret getting in my way" etc. She knows more than anyone that this power is so great she’ll do literally ANYTHING to get it!
If there was any delusion in her mind, or confusion in anyone else’s this was absolutely no battle at all. It was a giant simply keeping a persistent gnat out of its eyes until he’s annoyed enough. This becomes obvious when he stops her flying full force attack by merely grabbing the guitar shes swinging at him with one hand and giving it a simple push…which sends the guitar up into the stratosphere and her crashing to the ground and flopping across it like a rag doll.
