I love how Sasuke is using his classic ninja wires, shuriken, & swordsmanship against a god-like opponent. And to top it off he’s ultlizing it all with Lightning + his Sharingan & Rinnegan in perfect synch with Naruto admist their strategy. did that trick he did in the forest of Death, but instead of a Kunai, he used his sword.

This episode was amazing it was done better than in the movie and manga combined imo. Boruto was amazing using those combinations, and Jougan is so mysterious. If Boruto had a greater reserve of chakra he knew how to use , he would been a beast, he is smart and sharp, just look how well syncronized with Sasuke without even planing something. And yeah Momoshiki told Boruto that he inherited the power of Otsutsuki, he is probably reffering to Jougan, Boruto’s dojutsu.

Sasuke stole the show to me. If I had to compare Naruto and Sasuke it seems to me like Sasuke has developed more than Naruto. It does make sense since in the last battle between them Sasuke has just gotten the rinnegan so he had a ways to go to mastering its use, while Naruto didn’t really have much to develop upon.

This anime adaptation of the Boruto movie destroyed it with this episode! I’ve said this before, but they REALLY need to redo the Boruto movie like this! Its one thing when an anime follows its Manga properly, but its another thing when they follow the Manga and make it 10x fucking better! This episode was 100/100! GREAT EPISODE! Not gonna spoil the next episode for those who haven’t read the Manga…but Boruto gets a interesting gift : D

Also, I think that they didn’t put thaaaat much thought into the chunin exams, because it was leading up to this fight. I can guarantee you that the official chunin exams, it’ll be a lot better.

This episode was LIFE!!! At first, I was worried that it may not have been as good as the movie, but now I can’t recall the movie. Momoshiki’s final form…epic. Sasuke and Naruto combing powers….epic! The fights scenes well choreographed! Boruto eye, his invisible Rasengan, the warning form Momoshiki!!! OMG HE DOES’T NEED THAT STUPID NINJA TOOL!!EDGE OF MY SEAT GREAT!! 10/10 #ninjaway

A questioned i ask myself along time ago… Could Boruto jougan see Madara Limbo clones, and a step further, could Bourto tele/phase into the Limbo dimension? I think his resangen is traveling into another dimension (limbo). Or just maybe lighting release combine with the resangan just makes the resangan disappear or collapse into it’s self until released, whatever it is, IT’S BROKEN AS HECK!
After Boruto through the resangan a quick lighting frame appeared, reminded me of when Boruto jougan activated when he was tele to the Nue dimension. His eye hand the exact same lighting frame but just coming from his eye.
Also, Boruto dodged MoMo attack just like how Sasuke dodged the Raikage attack when he was younger; his jougan seems to have precog as well. So a little more info on boruto dojutsu.
And I liked how Naruto quickly did earth style to shield Boruto before MoMo let out that massive energy surge.

I won’t make this long cuz many comments have already covered this. BEST EPISODE EVER. Had my favorite OST playing, animation was crisp for the most part, and it had its appropriate comedy and throwbacks to Naruto. BRAVO! The only depressing thing is that now we’re going back to filler……

I only got one problem with the episode and that’s just me probely.
When Boruto classes with Momo, like when he "Throws" the rasengan at him (6:32) The animation suddenly went totally off in that scene, then i like the movie version better when he’s about to clash with momo.

The animation was absolutely incredible. And the creativity in the fighting styles and the use of the environment in battle was jawdropping. I think I liked it better than the MUI Goku VS Jiren fight. Hands down best fight in shonen in my opinion.
