    Shits about to go down. As wild as the plot gets, try not to linger on it too much. This anime hinges on its complex characters and their psychological states. Pretty much they all fucked up xD.

    If you’re looking for a new anime, which is mature but still really entertaining, consider Psycho Pass. Looking forward to the rest of this series’ reactions!

    There is something that you should know that is going to be very important from here on (and that you didn’t really comment on at the end).
    What Unit 01 did at the end when it "ate" the angel, was to try and "incorporate/assimilate" the Angel’s S2 Engine (as it’s said by Ritsuko in the episode). The S2 Engine, as far as we know, is an "organ" that provides an unlimited source of power to the Angel’s. That’s why NERV’s second branch (the one that "disappeared" in episode 17) was trying to incorporate one of this S2 Engines into Eva 04. If the Eva’s had this organ (which they don’t), they wouldn’t need a power cable or an internal battery.
    So, what does this all mean? Well, Eva Unit 01 now has an S2 Engine, therefore, it has now become "a god" (the "why" of this is explained later). That’s what Kaji meant when he mentioned: "the awakening of Eva 01" (or something along those lines) at the end of the episode. Just keep this in mind, because it will help you understand all of the events that will unveil throughout the rest of the series.

    Other than that… well:
    >Rei’s still alive
    >Kaji being there was mostly coincidence, but it certainly helped Shinji because, as we’ve seen, Shinji gets along with him and "trusts" him.
    >Gendo Ikari is indeed against SEELE (keep this in mind too!). You’ll find out why later…

    React to Fooly Cooly after this its made by the same studio who made Evangelion and the co creator actually made it, plus it has a banging ass soundtrack, gorgeous animation and its only a 6 episode OVA that you can literally watch in one sitting <3 it was made so the animators who worked on eva could help relieve there stress and depression
