    So… did the family import the car from Germany (the home of Audi)? Because the driver’s seat is normally on the right in Japan, since they drive on the left there. Note that the footage isn’t flipped, since the number plate reads the correct way.

    And the reason Chihiro wasn’t wearing a seat belt was that there was no law for them in the backseat in Japan until about 2008, so it was normal for kids to be rolling around back there.

    This is nothing new to me, I knew the Oginos’ car was a real one, as I’ve seen stuff like this before, it looks too detailed to be a fictional car, for one thing.
