Hold up, when trying to get the Solar Flare, just pause the video and use the full stop key and the key opposite that to go frame-by-frame. Really helps.

I just want to point this out, but it’s easier to pause a video by hitting the space bar after starting the video, that way you can rapidly pause the video without entering/exiting the fullscreen when you double click on the video window. Make sure AirierGames sees this because there are a few more solar flare moments and that space bar would really help them out.

So I don’t actually know if this is the origin of this song, but the logic makes sense…. You know the lullaby Rock-a-bye Baby? Here’s the lyrics if you don’t: Rock-a-bye baby in the treetop, when the wind blows the cradle will rock. When the bough breaks the cradle will fall, and down will come baby: cradle and all. My parents used to sing it to me when I was little. Very soothing melody, but the lyrics…when you think about them…are kind of messed up. What makes it worse is – thanks to the Horrible Histories books – I now know there was a tradition in some medieval villages where newborn infants would be tested to see if they were worth the effort of raising. The babies would be put in baskets, and then the basket would be put on top of a tree. If the baby cried it was a weakling and would be killed. If it laughed it was tough enough to survive the first decade at least and so was worth trying to keep alive. Of course sometimes the giggling baby would squirm around too much, the the basket would tip, and the baby would fall to its death. I am relatively certain that the song ‘Rock-a-bye Baby’ exists because of folk memories of that time.
Also I would just like to say that I am very glad I didn’t live back then.

Tip on catching a frame: Use spacebar to pause instead of mouse. You can click that twice much faster, and it won’t throw you out of the fullscreen. Can also use left arrow key to move back the video by 5 seconds, if you miss some line.

The reason they put images in the solar flare is that it’s supposed to blind anyone who sees it
