I joined the DQ party sorta late(starting with monsters joker on the DS) and I bought this as soon as I got paid this week I really want this series to thrive in the west. It really deserves the support.

One of the best JRPG I have played so far, Character design 10/10, Graphic 10/10, Story 10/10, Music 10/10. Definitely one of the best JRPG experience. For one who love JRPG, totally recommend to play it. English version will release on Sep 4, 2018.

I hope they will bring back custom characters in this game. I hate having to use premade characters. If we have to use premade characters then I at least want a female main protagonist. Seems like most Dragon Quest games only have male characters as the main protagonist. I know you can recruit female characters but I’d rather have the female character be the main protagonist from start to finish.
