Welcome to my Dragon Quest Builders Gameplay – Ep 8 – Giant Scorpion or simply Let’s Play Dragon Quest Builders! It’s like Dragon Quest Minecraft! I’m going to be going through the demo of the game to get a feel for what to expect and share the experience I have with you guys. The game takes place in the land of Alefgard where people have forgotten how to build and it’s my job to teach them and rebuild the kingdom!

Damn that castle ruin is a big pile of treasure…. I can imagine you’d deconstruct the whole castle by yourself just to farm every material bits off camera.

A few suggestions…You really need to start actually fighting. Just pushing the attack button does not count as fighting…Start dodging the attacks or you will never finish this game. Every single enemy takes a short moment before their attack hits, waning you to get out of the way. Seriously, start doing it.
Treasure chests are just decoration. They give a lot of points to build the base level, but nothing can be stored in them. Always use normal chests in every single room you build with a furniture that is used for making stuff…unless you don’t want any free stuff, of course.
Increasing the town level and fighting the battle quest will lead to stronger monsters attacking you at night. As you may have noticed, they first begun after the first battle. More random attacks on the town throughout the day will happen as you progress in town level and the battle quests, so make sure you prepare for them.
Both monsters and humans can jump on anything that is 1 high, be it dirt, piece of furniture or those broken-down fences you sometimes come across. If you want to prevent people/monsters from hopping all around your town, make sure that there are at least two blocks of height next to any such locations.
The mass-changing items that change dirt into stone blocks can be mass-produced and gathered. The wall ones have a range of 5X5 with heights of 4, but 2 is enough. Just build a 5X5X2 square with the middle empty (of dirt), then enter it, that that transformation item and use the special attack which you learn as part of the quest to kill that scorpion to clear ALL of the bricks you transformed, for instant 23 hard bricks. You can use them to make more of those items that transform dirt, thus once you make it once, you never need to waste any more resources. Just use dirt-transformation and use the bricks to make more dirt-transformation items.
I’ll probably write something more once I actually watch episodes 5-8, but yeah…

Hey Zueljin i think you can open your colossal chest from anywhere by going in the menu and selecting the item one . Love the serie 🙂
