DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2: Green Gardens, Isle of Awakening

This is my wife’s and my (possibly) complete Green Gardens town on the Isle of Awakening.
We decided not to build the towns in the chapters like I did in the first game and focus all of our efforts on the Isle of Awakening.
We have been having intermittent jittering/lag while playing, and showing off some parts are a bit quick because our first attempt to record this area went over the 15 minute PS4 limit, so I apologize about these issues.
There were other things we had built for this area, but again due to the time limit, we did not show them. They were my wife’s wizard tower and her maze that lead to it, but she also had a video of those elsewhere.
Also, during the video we had removed the scarecrow from the field/garden, and therefore was not a proper room, because we were trying to force the villagers to focus on making bread at the time.
Finally, sorry for any grainy quality. It was uploaded directly from the PS4, same as my other DQB videos, so I don’t understand what happened.

I didn’t know this game was capable of this much building. So much to see. So much inspiration. I’d bet Hargon would love to destroy it all. xD Do the buildings and stuff look better without roofs, or did you leave roofs off to show the interiors on YouTube?

What an incredible and inspiring build! I love how you’ve done the roofs open with just a trim around the edges too to stop the camera going crazy, might be stealing that one for my builds.

Hey ! Your island is great ! I love the details ! specially the watery parts
I’m still asking myself what is the way to go about ceilings and roofs… I think your choice (just the surroundings and open roof) might be the best (camera / aesthetic ) compromise !

Beuatiful!!! I love how you use the natural environment of the island and then build inside it.
Question: did you already begin to build a lot from the first island visited or did you wait to finish the whole game to take the time to build afterwards ?

This is incredible! How do you go about designing this on the large scale so it all flows so well?? I have so much trouble building in isle of awakening because of the open ended nature of it. With the established island towns there is existing buildings, borders to the base etc. and you have a sense of size and the scale to build on. IOA is just one huge base and it is so intimidating to just start building because whatever I do first is just so empty and seems lame! Lol
