I beat this game when I was seven… I think you need to be that young to tolerate it, otherwise it seems like a huge waste of time

I remember X-Play reviewed this and, while their opinion on licensed games in general made me take it with a grain of salt, they had basically the same issues you did but phrased much less nicely

Oh dear lord…
I remember playing this when I was just a wee kid and I LOVED it. I searched to find it again, but I didn’t have an Xbox to play it on and the 360 wouldn’t play it so I never got my chance again… it was amazing and I absolutely loved the animation and being able to smash people into walls!
And now, I wonder how the fuck I even thought any of that lol. I do remember fighting Frieza as Goku and going too close to the edge, falling out of the screen and having to restart xD

A glitch that happened to me was when I beat the game, it froze. Right after the final cutscene, And cell was freaking hard.

I had this game as a kid. I loved it because I dont like fighting games so I was super excited for a DBZ adventure game. But I knew even as a kid that it could of been better.

This game was only fun while playing with my nephew when he was 10, who happens to be special needs, because he struggled with anything more complicated. I’m not joking at all.

I was one of those poor xbox owners that was excited for this game cause we never got Budakai. though I fairly enjoyed it, I knew that it sucked and I was pissed that this was the only dbz game i could play while everyone else was having epic fights in budakai. I think this is when I really started to hate xbox

I was so excited about this game! I still have it on my shelf next to all of the Budokais and Tenkaichis for my ps2! It was awful…XD My favorite glitch memory was playing as Trunks and while trying to do a "Throw Command" to one of the generic andriods, it stick through me like a spear and just stayed there for the rest of the mission. Wasn’t hurting me or anything, just looked like Trunks’ torso was impaled by a robot, haha! Of course I had to destory all of the androids in the area to clear the mission and the last one… ironically… could not be destroyed… while planking through Trunks XD
Super Dragon Ball Z was a GREAT fighting game for the ps2! That kinda washed the bad taste out of my mouth from Sagas! That came out a little after this game, didn’t? 😀

Galicon? It’s supposed to be "Final Flash" or "Big bang Attack". Those are the two names of Vegeta’s attack. They don’t even respect that in the game…

I loved sagas !!! I was a 10 year old kid and being able to play this with my brother was some of the best times I ever had . It was a fun and easy game for kids .

It kind of looks like they were going for a console version of a legacy of goku type of game and it just didn’t work out. Budokai 2 was the last DBZ game i played back in the day before losing interest. I did get xenoverse and fighterz though in the last few years. I would like a game that has a story mode like Budokai (with real 3d cutscenes) that covers the beginning of Dragon Ball to the end of DBGT. I think they would be totally capable of doing this with the current consoles. Idk why, but all these DBZ game videos i watch just look disappointing…like they can pull GTA 5 off on Ps3 so why would they have all these limitations on all these games? Fighterz is good though so i won’t complain about that one.
