I get you man, it is indeed entertaining… but the storyline is really bad… and i’ve watched DBZ since i was like 10 y.o. Don’t let nostalgia shadow that. DBZ has great action scenes, but the plot is ridiculous and basically the only character that does epic, and i mean REALLY, epic stuff in the end is Goku… except maybe in the Cell saga which was supposed to end DBZ but well, that’s that.

Here in Brazil we also like our Goku dubbed with a male (brazilian) voice. It’s a common place to hate on dubbed media, specially live action films (which I don’t like too), but almost all of my childhood memories about cartoons and anime are dubbed, and in not one of them I remember complaining about it being dubbed. I just remember having fun. More credit should be given to those profesionals.

I honestly just wish freiza was the final villain of the dbz series n the legend of freiza was spread thru out the series until the final show down when goku n vegeta finally face off with frieza

Always felt bad after Gotenks fights Buu in the chamber. After that battle, it’s easy to fall asleep on the rest of DBZ. Still, it was funny watching Piccolo guide Buu to the chamber entrance.

A lesson I gained from Dragon Ball Z is: no matter how hard you work and improve yourself, you’re still nothing and pretty much useless if you’re not a Saiyan or Goku

The long screaming power ups and the standoffs were only in the anime. The manga had none of those and was the fast paced action-adventure story we wanted.

DBZ is hands down the most iconic action anime of all time. However, I still like Yu Yu Hakusho a lot more. Great fights, awesome characters, and amazing arcs.

Don’t shit on japanese Goku Stuckmann, yea his voice can be annoying at times but it beats the horrible acting and dialogue of the dub, plus that loud blaring music is obnoxious, and finally the japanese version has more heart, plain and simple.
