I suggested reading the last 2 chapters of the manga, the set up of the end was a bit different and there is a interesting epilogue .

Yes , Misa did committ suicide on the edge of that building . What’s even worse is that the creators of Death Note have confirmed that Misa died on Valentine’s day .

man, I really wanted Light to win so this reaction was hard to watch. I rarely watch reactions to the finale but knowing you would feel my pain bc you liked Light made it easier haha. I am also not surprised that Misa committed suicide bc Light seemed to be her main reason for living anyway which is so sad.

Hey I don’t know if you will see this but in Death Note, it was Light’s plan all along to die…well backup plan. In the book it says whoever uses the book will neither go to Heaven or Hell, they will go to a place called Nothingness and Nothingness is the Shinigami realm. So when he died, he went to nothingness and Light is now a Shinigami.

Fun fact: In the manga Matsuda (and many fans) theorized that Near used the Death note and cheated to win, which would explain Mikamis odd death.

I will admit the idea of G manufacturing a duplicate book in one night is insane.
But if you think about it, as long as they replaced the duplicate (well enough) by 1/28 Mikami wouldn’t really have a choice

now i’m not regret for watchin your AOT reactions, your the few ones who was on Light side, so that’s a plus, coz most of the viewers likes L and moralist shits, indeed i do understand L and N labours and all the moralist around his work but it would be nice if we can see what could have happen if Light won and became the ruler of the world, anyways nice reaction, love it, new subscribe now ?

In the end there are 4 nootbooks, 2 are fakes and the others 2 are real the first real one is with the police, the second real one is with mikami and the first fake one is the one that Light order Mikami to do and the second fake is the one who the guy do, Mikami was checking just the fake one and not the real one because the real one was hidden, when the fake one were modified he "confirmed" the switch to Takada and he was thinking that he’s no longer followed so he showed them the hidden place of the real one and they modified the real one too and Mikami was not checking the real one because he’s a fuck*ng idiot xD so it was Mikami’s fault if Light loose. Rip Light Yagami and I wish that you understand the end

There was a fun moment in the manga in the finale. When Light was wounded he asked Ryuk what would happen to him, since he couldn’t go to heaven or hell. To which Ryuk replied that there is no heaven or hell and Light will just turn to nothing after death, like everybody else, meaning that even in that Light wasn’t special.

The first half of the anime was perfect, even better than the manga imo but for the second half they left out so many great parts and scenes it just feels like a shell of what it could have been. But hey, no show is perfect. Except for ATLA, fight me.

so the point of the story is.. never rely on others. Light relied on Mikami and he fucked it up for Light
