So it looks like I’m the only cynical pschyopath who supported Light till the end?
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The only reason that I hated the episodes after 25 is that near was shown too OP compared to L or Light. He just guessed that current L is Kira and randomly picked up Mikami from the crowd for being a suspect. I mean, how th near actually knew that MIKAMI was the only one in the huge crowd of Kira worshippers?
And Light was dumbed down waaayyyy too much after episode 25. He couldn’t even deduce near’s plans. He let Mikami to handle the death note when the entire team of Near was after him even when Light knew about it
And how could near just produce a fake copy of the note in just a night with all the names written in it? That’s insane!
I have only one word for Near and Mello "bhaade ke tattu"
And as far as my memory goes, Light didn’t kill anyone who wasn’t a suspect for some horrible crime or came in his way to oppose him
He actually reduced the crime rates by 70% over the planet. That’s no small feat!

He just wanted a crime free world
He didn’t really deserve that kind of ending
It was real bad for someone like him.
Those’re just my opinions

The real beauty of this series is, if you make 10 people watch this in a room, every single person will see a different side of Death Note according to their own personna

I cried for L and I never cried for Light in the end. I actually was relieved when Matsuo fired him. The moment Light started killing people who try to stop him, I lost all my sympathy for him and hated all reasons which he fought for, coz he himself forgot his reasons. In the end, his only reason was to win. He didn’t want to be caught, like any other serial killer. He became selfish with power and started considering him to be the God. Sympathising with Light is like sympathising with Hitler and his actions as he too faced similar end.
