Man, I can’t get over how incredibly sad this is, and the whole death note story in general. I have yet to finish the series, but I know what’s coming. I just wonder if Light ever felt remorse.. like did he ever regret anything or find out how inhumane he was acting at the end? It’s so hard to think about how so much power and control can completely change a person.. I mean, I guess even when he wasn’t in possession of the death note, he kinda had the same views… but he had told himself he couldn’t bare the thought of killing someone, but he also asked the contradicting question of ‘would he?’ Would he actually kill all the bad people in the world to make it a better place if he could? He told himself that was crazy, but I think he was just in denial of the thought…
